Another win for EHCP Solutions! 🎉

Another EHCP has been agreed! 🙌

I submitted the application at the beginning of January, and the parents only received the decision today—that's 28 weeks later.

Now we've got our fingers crossed that this young person can finally receive the support they need. 🤞💙

The statutory 20-week deadline is often missed, so it's important to start the process as early as possible.

Dyslexia is much more than simply finding reading and spelling difficult. It can affect confidence, memory, organisation, writing, processing speed and many aspects of learning both at home and at school.

I provide full diagnostic dyslexia assessments for children and young people aged 8–18 from my assessment room in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

My assessments are carried out to SASC standards and are recognised by schools, colleges and examination boards. Each assessment includes a detailed diagnostic report with personalised recommendations to help your child access the support they need.

Today I’ve been preparing a complaint regarding amendments to an EHCP. While working, I received a beautiful surprise, a lovely bouquet from a parent I’ve been supporting with her SEND child. Such a thoughtful gesture 🥹. Feeling very appreciated today 💐

Another busy week supporting families and schools!

🔹 Global Mediation for a Local Authority complaint, with a DNTA (Decision Not to Assess) overturned in just 6 minutes!🎉
🔹 Two new EHC needs assessment cases booked.
🔹 One new DLA application booked.
🔹 SEND advocacy supporting a parents in meetings.
🔹 Attended my own child's annual EHCP review.
