Our team and some of our brilliant volunteers are dressed for the occasion and ready to get racing ahead of our Charity Race Night at Blakeney Harbour Room on 22nd August!

Expect plenty of fun, friendly competition and a fantastic evening together, all while raising money for a great cause. Judging by these photos, the racing spirit has already well and truly arrived! 😄

Every trip aboard Poppy is special, but early morning tides bring a little extra magic. 🌅

The peaceful waters, the morning light and the beauty of Blakeney Harbour make these trips truly memorable.

A chance to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience the coast from the water aboard our fully accessible boat.

Yesterday, we said we’d share what this trip meant to Ted in his own words… 💙

When we asked, “How was your trip today aboard Poppy?”, his answer said it all:

“First class! I even got to take the helm. It was a wonderful trip, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.”

At 97 years young, and a former RNLI helmsman,Seeing Ted back at the helm, doing something he clearly loves, was a truly special moment for everyone on board.

Comments like these remind us why Poppy exists – to make the beauty of Blakeney Harbour accessible to everyone, creating moments of joy, independence and lasting memories.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, whose kindness, dedication and support make these experiences possible every single day. 💙⚓

What an absolute pleasure it was to welcome a very special guest aboard Poppy this week.

At 97 years young, and a former RNLI helmsman, Ted thoroughly enjoyed spending time back on the water during his annual trip away from his residential care home. Seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, and helping someone reconnect with the sea is exactly why we do what we do.

Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing what this trip meant to him in his own words – it’s one you won’t want to miss. 💙⚓

Poppy is our wheelchair-accessible boat, giving people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to enjoy the stunning beauty of Blakeney Harbour.

Trips are free to book (donations are always appreciated to help keep Poppy on the water).
