⚒️🦺 P R I O R Y S I T E :
B U I L D I N G W O R K 🦺⚒️

We are pleased to advise that work will be commencing in July 2026 to build an extension to our Holywood Surgery. This extension will provide:
🔷 a brand new Treatment Room
🔷 Increased space for our First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist and Social Work team.

The building will also undergo significant upgrade works to its building services and ICT infrastructure.

In order to facilitate this work, patients should expect some disruption around the Priory site surgery for up to 12 months. This will include:
🔵 some temporary restrictions on parking and noise from construction activities.
🔵 We may also be required to move some services to our Springhill Site whilst internal works are carried out.

We will work closely with the contractors to try and minimise any impact on patients.

Please see below illustration of the site which highlights the impacted parking area. The nearest parking alternatives are:
🚗 on street
🚗 Church Road
🚗 Hibernia St.

We will be welcoming 2 new receptionists to the team in the coming weeks 🤝🏻🎉 Please be patient if you have an interaction with them, as they are trained up by our team ❤️

Whilst this is good news, the staffing pressures remain in our reception team during this period.

📢 Friday 1st May:
-Priory site doors will close from 3.30pm onwards

The will not impact our Springhill site, phone lines will be open as usual and the clinical team (GPs, pharmacists, nurses etc) will be working until usual closure time.

📢 Monday 4th May - Bank Holiday
-The surgery will be closed and re-open Tuesday 5th May.
