It's a kind of week and this weekend sees the start of another unique Exmouth fundraiser, The Mail Trail - For Hospiscare , here at we are again sponsoring an amazing woolly postbox topper and the team are looking forward to meeting it tomorrow at the launch - please join us if you can and thank you to all our amazing knitters and wool geniuses who make this such an amazing fundraiser for Hospiscare and such a joy to spot around Exmouth

We are handing over our Exeter and Exmouth shop windows this June and July to raise awareness of our friends at Hospiscare and the team are putting on so much from Open Gardens to the Dartmoor Beast....

Team Shoobridge will be volunteering, and definitely not running The Dartmoor Beast and are proud to say that with our amazing families we have raised over £75,000 for with our partner MuchLoved !

This week is National Care Home week, and a number of our amazing care homes across Exmouth, Exeter and Honiton will open their doors to celebrate life in care; the amazing relationships and community they create.

It's a nice opportunity to have a sneak peak into those homes, ask questions and experience the warmth of staff and residents. This year’s theme is inspired by the World Cup, focusing on teamwork, connection, and friendly competition. There's lots going on in East Devon, please let us know what you'll be doing?

We were honoured to lead a Honiton Funeral for a gentleman who’s last request was for horses to be involved in his final journey. We majestically travelled from Fairmile, on a glorious summer day across the Devon countryside to East Devon Crematorium for a final service.

The majesty of these animals, huge thanks to .horseandcarriagehire and the presence of the occasion left us and passers by speechless. A true honour

Team Shoobridge were fortunate to attend the National Funeral Exhibition in Warwickshire yesterday, keeping up to date with new products and exciting ideas including this amazing, sustainable coffin from which biodegrades in just 45 days and enriches the earth, giving new life. We couldn’t resist sending our new Funeral director, Matthew to have a closer look.
