Another busy, sunny, and rewarding day doing what I love most – helping my clients transform their gardens into spaces they can truly enjoy. 🌞🌿

Today took me to two different clients and two very different gardens, but both were equally satisfying to work on.

🌱 This morning's project was all about reclaiming the borders. I cleared away stubborn nettles, brambles, and overgrown w**ds to make room for beautiful new planting. I also removed a holly tree, revealing a much larger tree that had been hidden away while making the area safer for the children to enjoy.

The pathways are now open once again after grass and w**ds had begun to take over. To make the morning even better, I had the pleasure of listening to a lovely robin singing from the farm roof. 🐦

🌿 This afternoon was spent continuing work on an exciting new project. More ivy and garden debris were cleared to create a clean, safe, and accessible walkway.

The paths were w**ded, and I tackled thick brambles, nettles, and unwanted grasses. The trusty pickaxe came in handy for digging out the deep roots too—taking the extra time to remove them properly helps stop them coming straight back. 💪🪓

The perfect way to finish the day? A visit and a cuddle from the handsome Prince. 🐴❤️ It's always a pleasure to end the day with such a gentle giant.

Every day brings a new challenge, and it's always rewarding to see the difference a little hard work can make. On to the next transformation! 🌼🌳

What a fantastic, productive, and rewarding day! 🌿💪

Another big step forward in transforming this once-overgrown area into a beautiful woodland walkway that will become a natural extension of the rest of the garden. 🌳🍃

It's amazing to look back at where we started and see just how much progress has been made over the past few weeks.

Today's focus was clearing even more unwanted materials that had built up over the years. Rather than sending everything to waste, we reused old carpet as a w**d barrier and spread the bark chippings we'd created from recycled wood.

It's always satisfying to recycle and repurpose materials wherever possible, creating something practical, environmentally friendly, and visually appealing. ♻️🌱

I also strimmed back all the nettles around the rear of the garden, making the whole area safe and easy to access—no more battling through stinging nettles! 🌾✂️ Every visit brings us one step closer to creating a space that's both beautiful and enjoyable to spend time in.

To top it all off, I had the pleasure of sharing the day with a friendly little robin, who was happily hopping around collecting fresh worms while I worked. Moments like these are just one of the many reasons I love working outdoors. 🐦❤️

Every small step makes a huge difference, and it's incredibly rewarding to watch these transformations come to life. Looking forward to seeing how this woodland walkway continues to develop over the coming weeks!

🌿 What a lovely way to finish the week! 🌿

Another busy day in the garden, and once again the brambles were back with a vengeance! 😂 Honestly, they seem to enjoy coming back so quickly they probably need their own postcode! 📮🌿

Today was all about getting things back under control. I cleared both the front and back gardens, tackled the w**ds growing between the slabs, and gave everything a good tidy-up. It’s amazing what a difference a bit of dew**ding and clearing can make — the whole area already feels cleaner, brighter and much more enjoyable. 🌱✨

The back garden was given some extra attention too, creating a much nicer space to walk around and enjoy without feeling like you're being attacked by brambles at every turn! 😂🌿

I also had a lovely little visitor while I was working — this beautiful butterfly decided to keep me company for a while. 🦋💛 It’s always nice to see a bit of wildlife enjoying the garden too.

Unfortunately, not every visitor was quite so welcome… 🐝😬 A wasp decided to take a liking to my thumb and gave me a rather painful little reminder that they’re not all about spreading the love! 😂 Thankfully, I’m not allergic, so apart from a sore thumb, I’m all good.

Another job done, another garden looking much better, and another busy week ticked off. 💪🌿
Now it’s time for a few hours to put my feet up and recharge before heading off for the night shift later tonight. 🌙💤

Busy days, tired legs, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

🌿☀️ What a busy old day it's been! ☀️🌿

Started the day by finishing my night shift, then it was straight home for a quick change into the gardening gear before heading back out to one of my wonderful clients for a couple of hours. 💪🌱

After that, it was off to the dentist... 😬 Thankfully, all looking good, so that's one job ticked off! 🦷✅
Then it was back to my client's garden to crack on with all the little finishing jobs. I had the best little supervisors keeping me company too – these two gorgeous doggies never fail to brighten the day. 🐶🐶❤️

I also popped over to drop off some compost and couldn't resist saying hello to these beautiful horses. There's nothing quite like a cuddle with them. 🐴🤎 To top it all off, a little squirrel even stopped by to say hello! 🐿️ Nature always seems to know how to make the day that little bit more special.

I finished a little later than usual because of the dentist appointment, but we made some great progress. Everything has been cleaned and tidied, although there's still plenty to do. The ivy and stubborn roots have definitely put up a good fight, but they won't win! 🌿💥

To round the day off, I met with a potential new client to chat through what they need and how I can help. It's amazing how quickly the diary is filling up, and sometimes I wish there were a few more hours in the day! 😊

At Adam's Care & Gardening Services, I genuinely love keeping busy, helping people, and seeing the difference each day makes. And this glorious sunshine... it can stay for as long as it likes! ☀️🌼

🌿☀️ Another busy and productive day ticked off this week! 💪🚜

Today was all about transforming this area and getting everything ready for a very special party for one of my lovely clients. 🎉 It's a shame I forgot to take before photos of the larger area, as it was completely filled with huge dumpy bags of soil, pallets, and an overgrown bank covered in thick nettles and brambles. The difference now is incredible! 🌱✨

It was all hands on deck today, which meant we made fantastic progress. 🙌 My petrol strimmer was an absolute game changer too—it powered through the overgrowth with ease and made such a huge difference. 🌾🔥

Once that was under control, it was time to tackle the pathways and the side areas, clearing away even more w**ds, brambles, and stinging nettles. Not only does it look so much tidier, but it's now much safer for everyone to enjoy without worrying about getting scratched or stung. 🌼🌿

Job done! ✅ The whole area is now cleared, tidy, and ready for everyone to enjoy. All that's left now is to fire up the BBQ, turn the music up, pour a few drinks, and let the celebrations begin! 🍔🎶🍹

🌞☀️ What a fantastic couple of days it's been! The sunshine has been absolutely glorious, and I could definitely get used to spending every day working outdoors in weather like this. 😎🌿

🐥 Yesterday was an exciting step forward on one of my projects as I started building a brand-new area ready to welcome a new family of chicks. It's always rewarding seeing a project come together from the ground up, and I can't wait to see it finished.

🌳 Today has been a long but incredibly rewarding day with two amazing clients, two very different gardens, and two jobs that I thoroughly enjoyed.
🍑 This morning's task was tackling a huge plum tree that had become heavily overgrown. It was absolutely loaded with beautiful fruit, and I managed to save as much of it as possible.

The branches were hanging right over a public footpath, so for safety it needed cutting right back in line with the fence to prevent fruit dropping onto the path and creating a slipping hazard. A very tall ladder, plenty of hard work, and another satisfying transformation completed! 💪🪜

🌿 This afternoon I was back to continue the battle against the ivy. More progress made, more space opened up, and the whole area is starting to look cleaner, tidier, and easier to maintain. It also meant climbing another very tall ladder and even getting onto the roofs to remove as much ivy as I safely could. Good job I'm not too bothered by heights! 😅🪜🏡

Every day is different, every garden has its own story, and every client makes this job worthwhile. I genuinely feel so lucky and grateful to have such wonderful clients who continue to support my business. Thank you all for keeping me busy doing something I truly love. ❤️🙏

Happy Friday, everyone! 🌿 Wrapping up another incredibly productive day out in the gardens.

​With the recent weather we've been having, the brambles, nettles, and w**ds have been growing absolutely out of control! 🌱💦 Today was all about tackling a much-needed de-w**ding situation to get everything perfectly prepped for my client.

​I started by giving the driveway a complete overhaul—clearing away all the stubborn overgrowth to make sure it's safe, tidy, and fully accessible again. There's nothing quite like that before-and-after satisfaction! 🏡✨

​Once the front was looking sharp, it was straight round to the back garden to keep the momentum going. Spent the rest of the day battling through even more thick brambles and clearing away unwanted debris to help the space finally breathe again. Hard work, but always worth it to see the transformation and leave the property looking its best! 💪🍂

​Now, the school run is officially ticked off the list! 🎒🚗 I'm grabbing a well-deserved few hours of rest to recharge the batteries before I head back out for the night shift later on. 🌙☕

🚐☀️ Another cracking day from the road to the workshop! 💪🔨

Today was all about seeing another van conversion unit come to life from start to finish.
The day started with a lovely drive over to Barnstaple to collect the boards needed for the next build. The sunshine was out, the air conditioning was on, and it was one of those perfect summer mornings to be out on the road. 😎☀️

Back at the workshop, the boards were loaded onto the CNC machine (not by me), where each piece was cut with incredible precision. It's always fascinating to watch the process and see how a simple sheet of board is transformed into perfectly shaped panels ready for assembly.

Then it was my turn to get stuck in! Every panel was carefully trimmed with dark grey edging before fitting the hinges, catches, and hardware. Piece by piece, the unit came together until another high-quality, strong, and practical van conversion unit was complete. 👌🚐

It's amazing how a pile of flat boards can become something that will soon be part of someone's adventure on the road. I genuinely enjoy every stage of the build, and I take real pride in making sure every detail is finished to a high standard. Quality, care, and attention to detail are what it's all about.

Another unit finished, another happy step closer to creating someone's dream camper. On to the next build! 💙🔨🚐

☀️🌿 Another glorious sunny day, another wonderful client, and another rewarding project completed!

Today's mission was taking on a huge battle with the ivy... and I have to admit, as strange as it sounds, I find it incredibly therapeutic! There's something so satisfying about peeling it all back and revealing what's been hidden underneath. 💪🌱

There is still plenty more to tackle, but today was a fantastic start. I cleared the ivy from the side of the shed and surrounding areas, uncovering a couple of old tree stumps buried beneath years of overgrowth. I was convinced I'd need the saw to get them out, but with one good push, down they came like magic! 😄

The real challenge was the stubborn root ball. For a while, I thought it might win the battle, but with a pickaxe, plenty of determination, and a bit of perseverance, victory was mine! 💥 Once everything was removed, I cleared away all the unwanted roots, debris and undergrowth, leaving the area looking clean, tidy and ready for whatever comes next. Everything was then taken over to the compost and burn pile to be recycled naturally. 🌿♻️

To top off a brilliant day, I was rewarded with cuddles from these two beauties, while five lovely dogs happily followed me around all day. 🐶❤️ Days like this never feel like work when you're surrounded by wonderful people, beautiful gardens and such amazing animals.

One of the biggest blessings of running Adam's Care & Gardening Services is the flexibility it gives me. Today I was also able to attend an important EHCP meeting for my son before returning to work later in the day. Being able to support both my clients and my family means the world to me, and it's something I'll never take for granted. ❤️

I genuinely take pride in every job I do, no matter how big or small, and I feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have the most amazing clients. Thank you all for your continued trust, support and kindness—it truly means everything. Here's to many more transformations together! 🙏🌿
