We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, professional and reliable Receptionist to join our team within our busy GP surgery

Key Responsibilities
•Welcoming and assisting patients at reception and by telephone
•Booking, cancelling and rearranging appointments
•Handling patients enquiries in a professional manner
•Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
•Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
•Processing prescriptions and other administrative requests

The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, confident with computers and able to work under pressure.

NHS England will run a national RSV invitation campaign. Invites will be sent to unvaccinated individuals aged 80 years and over that became eligible for the RSV older adults vaccination programme from 1 April 2026.

Following the practices decision to ensure our patients can park when visiting us, Parking Eye now manage our car park which is an independent company.

We are unable to cancel any parking penalties from Parking Eye. To ensure you don’t receive a penalty, please enter your car registration details into the tablet every time you visit the surgery even if only speaking to reception or dropping something off. If you need any assistance to enter your registration, please speak to a member of the Reception Team who will be more than happy to assist you.
