With all the love for my incredible cucumber and aubergine-growing skills this year, let’s take a moment to mourn this year’s fallen soldiers. 🪖🫡

🍓 The strawberry plant — which became a luxury slug camp.

🌳 The fig trees — taken down by a skeletoniser moth infestation.

🌶️ And the peppers — which never quite grew into their full potential.

Lost, but not forgotten. 🫡🎖️

They gave their lives so I could learn absolutely nothing and probably do it all again next year. 😂

Listening to the rain like… 🌧️🌿

The plants are absolutely LOVING this. Free watering, no effort required. 😂

Meanwhile I’m wondering whether I can count sitting out under the awning listening to it as a form of self-care… and whether there’s a SWIP value for soggy weather. 🤔😂

15 minutes in the air fryer… and under 4 minutes to dish up. 🙌

Honestly, cutting the tomatoes was the most time consuming bit! 🔪🍅😂

On the plate before you can even decide what takeaway you fancy! 😂🙌
