✨ I’m beyond excited and deeply grateful to be featured in Women Insider.

This feels like a dream 💭 This opportunity means so much to me because it represents the mission I’m so passionate about and showcases all the hard work I’ve put in over the last few years!

For so many years, I’ve seen women carry invisible mental barriers that hold them back from the life they truly want. My work is about helping them rewire those patterns, step into confidence, and create lasting inner calmness.

You have to stop hating the versions of you that were just surviving.

The insecure one.
The people-pleaser.
The overachiever.
The one who stayed too long.
The one who didn’t know better yet.

She wasn’t weak.
She was doing the best she could with the awareness and nervous system capacity she had at the time.

That version of you developed coping strategies to stay safe.
To be loved.
To belong.
To succeed.

And without her… you wouldn’t be who you are today.

Growth isn’t about shaming your old self.
It’s about loving her enough to evolve.

You don’t outgrow your past by rejecting it.
You outgrow it by integrating it.

So today, instead of cringing at who you used to be…
Thank her.

In 1994, researchers at the Karolinska institute studies psychological mechanics of crying. They discovered that tear release is controlled by the Parasympathetic Nervous System, the branch responsible for rest, digestion, and collapse states. Crying is a Ventral Vagal response. It requires a state of vulnerability.

So, if you were brought up in a household who thought vulnerability was weakness then you subconsciously would have shut down the parasympathetic response. The Sympathetic Nervous System (fight or flight) inhibits the lacrimal glands to prevent you from entering a vulnerable state.

The teras are there, the grief is there. But the dam will not open because your body is still in defence mode.
