ETR Welcome to ETR. Evolve, Transform, Rejuvenate. I offer an enriching experience of therapeutic techni

My work centres around ways to address stress and anxiety, finding relaxation and
resolution through body, breath and mind. As a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, massage therapist and breathwork practitioner, I
tailor my approach to support clients in a number of ways:
● Menopause support to help manage the profound shifts during this transition,
addressing physical changes and releasing accumulated tension, as well as tackling
emotional and psychological changes such as mood swings, hot flashes, sleep
issues, loss of confidence and feelings of decreased womanliness.
● Stress management at work: Highly pressured environments can take their toll on
behaviour, performance and relationships, causing you to lose sight of who you are. Together, we can take the pressure off, reducing stress and anxiety in a range of
ways to help get your physical and mental health back on track.
● Teenage support to help manage the stress and anxiety of these difficult years. My
approach helps with social anxiety, performance anxiety, exam stress and low self
esteem.
● Empowerment focused support to change negative thoughts into positive beliefs. Through assertiveness training and SMART goal setting, we help you express
yourself effectively and stand up for yourself, addressing performance anxiety and
boosting self esteem for increased confidence and motivation. THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
My approach blends body, breath and mind to offer treatments that address the impact of
modern life on our stress levels. Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is a powerful and potent way to address and
overcome many of life’s difficulties, enabling you to challenge unhealthy beliefs, effect
change and to strengthen healthy beliefs. Hypnosis can produce profound behavioural, emotional, cognitive and physiological changes
in a relatively short treatment time. Depending on therapy goals, clients might become
profoundly relaxed, calm and accepting; highly energised and proactive or experience a
deep shift in confidence. BACKGROUND
I am an experienced wellbeing practitioner having worked for over 18 years in yoga,
mindfulness, meditation, relaxation, breathing techniques, Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT) and massage therapy. Many of my clients came to me with high levels of
stress and anxiety, which prompted me to study for qualifications in Evidence Based
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

and hypnosis) and Stress Management and Resilience. By drawing on all areas of my
expertise, I can tailor solutions to suit individual clients and their needs.

🍂 Restorative Yoga Evening | Saturday 5th September

As summer begins to soften into autumn, perhaps we can allow ourselves to soften too.

Three hours to step away from the constant doing and give your body and nervous system space to slow down, rest and restore.

Through supported restorative postures, gentle movement, breath and stillness, we’ll create a deeply nourishing evening together — surrounded by candlelight in the beautiful Brighton Buddhist Centre.

No yoga experience is necessary. Come exactly as you are. 🤍

There are currently only 1–2 places remaining, so if this speaks to something in you, you are very welcome to join us.

Maybe this is your invitation. 🌿

If you’ve been watching my videos this week and quietly thinking,

“I really need something like this…”

today is the final day to join us.

You don’t need to arrive motivated.

You don’t need to do everything perfectly.

And you certainly don’t need to have your life organised for seven days.

Just come as you are.

For one week, we’re going to simplify.

Nourish the body differently.
Move and breathe together each morning.
Support the nervous system.
Create a little less stimulation and a little more space.

And begin noticing the thoughts, habits and patterns that normally move so quickly that we barely see them.

There will be structure and guidance — but this isn’t another thing to succeed at.

Take what supports you. Adapt what you need to.

This isn’t about becoming a different person in seven days.

It’s about becoming quiet enough to reconnect with the person who is already there underneath all the noise.

🌿 7-Day Anti-Inflammatory Inner Reset
🌿 We begin Monday, 31st August
🌿 Final bookings today

If it feels like the right time, send me a message. I’d love to have you with us.

What story is your mind telling you today? 🌿

Sometimes a thought has been repeated for so long that we stop experiencing it as a thought.

It simply begins to feel true.

I’m not enough.
I should be doing more.
Something is going to go wrong.
What will they think?

One of the things we’ll explore during our 7-Day Inner Reset is not how to get rid of these thoughts — or replace them with forced positivity.

It’s something much gentler.

Can I notice the thought without immediately becoming the thought?

This is where modern CBT and ancient yoga philosophy meet so beautifully.

Both invite us to become curious about the movements of the mind — and to discover that little space between having a thought and being carried away by it.

Perhaps notice today:

What story am I telling myself?

What happens in my body when I believe it?

And what changes if, just for a moment, I simply observe?

Sometimes awareness itself creates space. 🌿

Our 7-Day Anti-Inflammatory Inner Reset begins Monday.

Tomorrow is the final day to join us.

If it feels like something you need right now, send me a message.

Your body is listening to how you live. 🌿

Not only to what you eat.

Rushing. Poor sleep. Constant stimulation. Holding tension. Always being switched on.

Even our breathing changes under pressure — often without us noticing.

This is why my 7-Day Anti-Inflammatory Inner Reset isn’t simply about food.

For seven days we’re creating space for the whole person — body, breath, nervous system and mind.

Through gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, nourishing food and simple moments of awareness, we’ll begin listening a little more closely.

Today, perhaps don’t try to change anything.

Just notice:

How am I breathing right now?

Where am I holding tension?

What is my body asking for?

Sometimes the first step isn’t doing more.

It’s becoming quiet enough to hear ourselves again. 🌿

We begin Monday, 31st August.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, you still can. Send me a message and I’ll send you the details.

The Reset isn’t only about what we feed the body. It’s also about what we repeatedly feed the mind.

For seven days, we’ll simplify our food — but that is only our starting point.

We’ll also begin noticing the quieter things:

What happens to my breath when I’m stressed?

What story is my mind telling me?

What patterns do I automatically fall into?

And can I notice a thought without immediately becoming caught inside it?

This isn’t about forcing positive thinking or pretending difficult emotions don’t exist.

It’s about developing awareness.

Through CBT, mindfulness, yoga philosophy, somatic practices, breathwork and time in nature, we’ll explore how the body, nervous system and mind continually influence one another.

Each day will include a simple mindful activity or contemplation to take beyond our morning practice and into real life.

Because perhaps a meaningful reset isn’t about becoming somebody different.

Perhaps it’s about creating enough space to notice what is already here.

Body → Breath → Mind → Observation → Awareness 🌿

🌿 WHAT IF YOU GAVE YOURSELF 7 DAYS?

Not to become healthier overnight.
Not to be perfect.
Not to punish your body with another detox.

But simply to create less noise.

On Monday 31st August, we begin my 7-Day Anti-Inflammatory Inner Reset — a week designed to support both the body and the mind.

For seven mornings, we’ll meet online and explore:

🌿 anti-inflammatory, predominantly plant-rich food
🌿 mindful movement & yoga
🌿 pranayama & breath awareness
🌿 nervous-system regulation
🌿 meditation & somatic awareness
🌿 practical psychology & CBT
🌿 yoga philosophy
🌿 daily reflection and mindful observation

Because inflammation isn’t the only thing we can simplify.

We can also begin noticing the constant stimulation, rushing, reacting, craving, thinking and doing that fills our inner world.

What happens when we create some space?

What does my body actually need?
What am I reaching for automatically?
What happens to my breath when I’m stressed?
What stories does my mind repeatedly tell me?
Can I notice a thought without immediately becoming caught inside it?

The food becomes our physical foundation.

But the deeper Reset is about awareness.

Less rushing.
Less stimulation.
Less automatic behaviour.

More space.
More listening.
More presence.

We spend so much of our lives searching for certainty.

We wait until life feels easier, calmer or more predictable before allowing ourselves to feel at peace.

Yet the mind rarely works that way.

In CBT, we learn that emotional wellbeing doesn’t come from eliminating uncertainty.

It comes from changing our relationship with it.

We learn to notice our thoughts without believing every one of them.
To feel emotions without fearing them.
To stay present instead of constantly preparing for what might happen next.

Whether I’m sitting with a client in the therapy room or standing beneath prayer flags in the Himalayas, the lesson feels the same:

Peace isn’t created by controlling life.
It’s created by learning how to be with it. AnxietySupport StressManagement Therapy CBT Hypnotherapy NervousSystem SelfAwareness Healing BrightonTherapist HoveTherapist

Presence isn’t somewhere we travel to.
It’s something we return to.

Standing beside Pangong Lake in the Himalayas, I was reminded of something I often witness in therapy.

Many of us spend so much of our lives trying to change what is happening around us—waiting for life to become calmer, easier, or more certain before allowing ourselves to feel at peace.

Yet nature doesn’t wait for perfect conditions.

The wind changes. Storms arrive. The light shifts from one moment to the next.

And somehow, it all belongs.

Perhaps emotional wellbeing isn’t about creating a life without storms.

Perhaps it’s about gently returning our attention to this moment, again and again, even when life feels uncertain.

Maybe that’s one of the most meaningful journeys we can make.

Peace is not something we find. It is something we remember. 🤍

We spend so much of our lives searching for the next achievement, the next solution, the next place that will finally make us feel complete.

Yet the greatest shifts often happen when we become still enough to notice what has been there all along.

Whether in a therapy room, a moment of mindful breathing, or the silence of the Himalayas, the journey is always the same:

Returning to ourselves.

Where Silence Finds You.

As a therapist, I spend much of my life helping people quiet the noise in their minds.

Then I came to the Himalayas… and realised that nature has been teaching the same lesson for thousands of years.

Today we travelled through deep canyons, stood at the world’s highest post office, crossed one of Asia’s highest bridges and visited remote villages where people live at over 4,700 metres above sea level.

Life here is physically demanding. Every day requires resilience.

Yet what touched me most wasn’t the landscape.

It was the people.

There is a calmness in their eyes. A kindness. A humility. They seem to have only what they need—yet they carry themselves with a quiet richness that no possession can buy.

In therapy, we often talk about how the mind is constantly chasing more:
More achievement.
More certainty.
More control.
More possessions.

But standing here, I found myself wondering…

What if our nervous system was never designed for “more”?

What if it longs for connection instead of comparison, presence instead of pressure, and enough instead of excess?

The Himalayas don’t offer easy answers.

They simply create enough silence for you to hear the questions that have been waiting inside you all along.

Where silence finds you… healing often begins. 🤍🏔️ (make this your signature hashtag)
