Emma — Counsellor & Psychotherapist (Hucknall)
I am an Accredited Member of the BACP and a Humanistic & Integrative therapist, offering counselling for young people (11+) and adults. I bring over 25 years of experience within the NHS, working across both physical and mental health services. This extensive background has given me a deep, grounded understanding of how life events, health, stress and relationships shape emotional wellbeing.
I work in a relational, humanistic and integrative way, supporting each client as a whole person. My approach is tailored to you as a unique individual. I offer a warm, compassionate and non‑judgmental space to explore both past and present experiences. I believe healing happens through genuine connection and understanding, and I aim to walk alongside you as you move toward greater self‑awareness, resilience and renewed strength.
I support clients with a wide range of experiences, including:
• Bereavement and grief
• Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
• Workplace‑related stress
• Relationship challenges
• Identity and self‑understanding
• Inner‑child work and attachment patterns
• Generational trauma
• Exam pressure
• Pre‑trial therapeutic support
My new client fee is £50 per session, and each session lasts 50 minutes. Whether you’re facing something recent or something long‑standing, therapy can offer a calm, confidential space to reflect, process and find a way forward.
