What a fabulous day we had in sunny Cleethorpes. Fish & chips on the pier🐟🍟, a lovely walk by the beach & icecream & coffee in the sunshine! ☀️🍦Judith said she had a lovely day & Betty said fish & chips always taste better at the sea side 😁

Thank you to all out lovely volunteers who came along on the day to give us a helping hand. Also a huge thank you to Gordons Coaches & their wonderful driver for the fabulous job he did for us on the day heloing our ladies & gents on & off the coach & getting us there & back safely. We had a wonderful day!🥰

Another fabulous week at Denby Dale Club. recently. An afternoon full of singing, dancing, laughter & a cheeky whisky & lemonade or 2.😉Thank you to James Martin for the fabulous live vocals & to everyone at the club for keeping us supplied with tea & coffee. You do an amazing job!🥰

What better way to spend than baking, decorating & most importantly sampling some delicious cupcakes. Decorated with fresh Blackberries from the gardens. Annie told us she's always baked and cooked a lot for her family & Christine told us her grandma taught her all she knows. We love listening to each other's stories about our families. Well done ladies & gents the cupcakes were delicious!! 🧁

I'm sure Brenda will agree, she managed a sneaky taste before anyone else. Staff and residents agreed that licking the spoon was always the best but of baking🥄 🤣

As part of this month we chatted about these beautiful animals and other nocturnal animals that lots of us have in our gardens followed by an alphabet game about birds. Some of our lovely ladies had a go ag making their own Barn Owl mobiles which look really great! 🦉🥰

Thank you to the ladies from St Aidan's Church, Skelmanthorpe who pay us a visit once a month where we can enjoy the Holy Communion service. We always look forward to your visits. 🥰⛪️

Out enjoying the sunshine recently with Myra, Pat & Steph. Myra said she just wated some frsh air so we set off in to the village chatting about the village & when Myra worked as a carer at Longroyds & Pilling House Care Home-Hill Care many years ago. On our way around we managed to squeeze in a visit with our friends at Oli & Ree Coffee Shop for a lovely cup of coffee before the rain came.☕️🏡

Pat said she fancied an Iceream so we had a walk up in to the village for just that. It was a very warm day so we paid a visit to the lovely ladies at Taylor Made for a nice cold glass od fresh orange. We would like to say a special thank you to the ladies at Taylor Made for saving our legs & bringing out some delicious ice creams for us to enjoy in the sunshine. Thank you so much!! 🥤🍦

Steph fancied some chocolate cake so we headed straight up to Oli & Ree Coffee Shop to pay our friends a visit. There we enjoyed a cup of tea & some delicious chocolate brownie. 🫖😋

Thank you to everyone at Oli & Ree Coffee Shop & Taylor Made we received such a warm welcome and everyone is so lovely. We're already looking forward to our next visit. 🥰

We had a lovely time taking advantage of the early blackberry season recently. Margaret told us she had blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and red and black currents in her garden when she loved at home. She told us she wasn't really a plant grower she only grew things she could eat.🍓

After a busy morning of picking the berries we soaked them & the ladies & gents decided to make a blackberry & apple crumble for everyone to enjoy after lunch with custard of course. 🍏🥧

We were thrilled to welcome back Debbie & Graham recently with the fabulous Chocko & Mr Raffles🩶❤️. We love our time with our feathered friends and chatting with Debbie & Graham & listening to the stories they share about their birds. Lots of smiles and cuddles all around today! Ian thought it was brilliant when Chocko's first job was to go straight in for a sip & to share his juice. We are already looking forward to our next visit 🥰
