We have been made aware of a phishing scam targeting local patients by sending fraudulent emails that appear to come from GP practices. The message claims that “online access has been granted” and urges the recipient to take immediate action. In this case, the email was falsely signed as being from the patients registered GP Surgery.

The email is not genuine and was not sent by the practice. It originates from the address [email protected], which has been linked to a wider phishing campaign affecting GP surgeries.

To keep yourself safe:

✅ Watch out for suspicious emails, which often ask you to take urgent action and direct you to click on links.
✅If you are not sure if your GP practice are trying to contact you, please call them on their usual number during their opening hours.
✅If you receive any suspicious emails, please send them to [email protected] where they can be investigated.
☎️If you think that you have shared your financial information with a scammer, please contact your bank straight away.

It's often so hard to know when you might need to contact your GP surgery for advice about a cough or chest infection; or even pneumonia; should you just sit...

19/12/2025

With the significant rise in flu and covid cases, we are now advising any patient attending with respiratory illness to please wear a face mask that covers their mouth and nose, whilst they are in the surgery building, whether that be in waiting room, corridor or in consultation with their clinician.

We are kindly asking our patients to take this precautionary step to help keep other patients, our staff and the community safe, whilst being mindful of the wishes of many not to become unwell, at any time, but especially at this time of year. Thank you.
