Are you under-fuelling yourself and wondering why you’re not seeing the progress you want? 👀🍽️
This is something I see far too often with young women.
Social media has made fitness more accessible, but it’s also made it SO confusing for us girls:
“Eat less.”
“Do more cardio.”
“Take this supplement.”
“Follow this workout.”
And eventually, more food starts to feel scary and progress becomes all about getting smaller.
When Imogen came to me, she was already training consistently, but she’d spent a long time eating very low calories while trying to get leaner.
Our first priority wasn’t to make her eat even less.
It was to rebuild.
We focused on eating enough, creating structure around food, getting stronger in the gym and building a healthier relationship with both food and training.
Once she had that foundation, we introduced a short, structured deficit 10 weeks before her holiday — without sacrificing her lifestyle or fuelling her progress with restriction.
The result?..
✨ Less body fat
✨ More muscle
✨ Stronger in the gym
✨ Eating MORE food
✨ Better relationship with food & the importance of protein
✨ More confidence inside & out
✨ And, most importantly, no fear of “going backwards” when eating at maintenance.
This is your reminder that sometimes the answer isn’t to eat less.
Sometimes, you need to eat enough first. 🤍
