✨️🫶🍰☕️ The monthly Afternoon Cream Tea session went brilliantly again today.
It's wonderful having family and friends join in the fun here at The Denby.
We've enjoyed a couple of quiz rounds, a game of bingo and also had an art workshop running along side!
Everyone's welcome, our doors are open wide for these events so keep an eye on our page for the October date, usually a Friday and always at 2.30pm til 4pm. It's all free, dementia friendly and just friendly in general!
Thank you to all the staff and family who go out of their way to make this work, it's definitely worth it and wouldn't work without the BIG team effort!! ☕️🍰🫶✨️

Today Dog Bingo was back on the cards.🐕
The Denby residents are not huge lovers of bingo as whole but don't mind a go at different variations once in a while.

Young at heart this Wednesday 16th, 2 pm we have Lee to entertain us , £2 entry inc free tea/ coffee and raffle . Bar open from 1.30 if you fancy something a little stronger .

✨️🇫🇷 Today our residents had such a HUGE treat, our kitchen really excelled themselves by providing French cuisine for our ladies and gents for dinner, tea trolley and tea! Following the French dining experience, our ladies and gents enjoyed their first French class here at The Denby where we began with our introduction into the French language. Hello's, and thank you's followed by popular food and drinks etc which our residents will begin to use through out the days to come! We are very keen to see how this one pans out and excited to not only develop our new skill together, our residents said that they had thoroughly enjoyed the whole French experience today and are both happy and intrigued to see where we go from here!

Jane was back at The Denby today for our aerobics session. This has quickly become a favourite with our residents who are keen to keep fit.
