🌸 A Creative Day in Bloom! 🌸

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a relaxing arts and crafts session where they each designed and decorated their own unique flower vase. Once their masterpieces were complete, they handpicked beautiful fresh flowers to arrange their personalised vases. 💐🎨

Activities like this are especially beneficial for people living with dementia. Decorating the vases encouraged creativity, concentration and fine motor skills, while choosing and arranging the flowers provided gentle sensory stimulation through their colours, textures and scents.

It was lovely to see everyone's creativity shine, and each resident took great pride in their beautiful floral arrangements. A wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, laughter and blooming masterpieces! 🌼💜

A huge congratulations to our lucky raffle winners – Susan, Lindsey, and Gareth! 🥳🎁

Our residents had the privilege of drawing the winning tickets for these three amazing hampers, making it an extra special moment for everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and supported our Summer Fair. Your generosity has helped raise valuable funds that will go directly towards activities and experiences for our residents.

☀️🎉 What a fantastic day at The Oakes Summer Fair! 🎉☀️

What a blast we had! The sunshine was shining, the smiles were endless, and everyone had a wonderful time enjoying everything the fair had to offer.

Our residents, families, friends, and visitors loved browsing the stalls, trying their luck on the tombola, and soaking up the fantastic atmosphere. The live entertainment was brilliant, playing all the golden classics that even got a few people up on the dance floor! 💃🕺

Our mocktail and cocktail stall was also a huge hit, with plenty of refreshing drinks enjoyed throughout the day. 🍹

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us, and to everyone who kindly donated. Your generosity is truly appreciated and helps us continue creating memorable experiences, activities, and special moments for our residents.

Thank you for making our Summer Fair such a wonderful success—we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🌻💚

🎉 Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter! 🎉

💚 We have officially become Bridge Oak Care Homes! Under North bay Group 💚

To celebrate this special milestone, we were delighted to welcome Steve Davies, CEO, and Helen Casson, Head of People, who came to introduce themselves to the team. They even brought us a delicious cake to mark the occasion!

It was lovely to meet you both, and we really appreciate you taking the time to visit us and make us feel so welcome.

We are excited about the future as part of the Northbay family and look forward to the opportunities ahead while continuing to provide the highest standard of care for our wonderful residents.
