Chitchat Club is back this month with a relaxed, chatty afternoon. We would love to see you there.

📅 Thursday 13th August

📍 Park Row Centre

ChitChat Club - Today’s Highlights!
We had such a heart‑warming afternoon together at ChitChat Club. We eased in with some gentle warm‑up conversation starters - everything from favourite recent moments to what makes a day feel “good”. It set the tone beautifully for a relaxed, chatty session.

☕ Tea, coffee, cake and biscuits kept us fuelled before we moved into a lively round of bingo, followed by our big five‑round general knowledge quiz (plus a bonus round!). Carol and Pat were on fire today - they seemed to be collecting all the prizes and gave us plenty of laughs along the way.

To finish, we slowed things down with our reminiscence cards, sparking some truly lovely conversations about childhood and school days.
We heard memories of:
✨ First days at school
✨ Childhood best friends
✨ Favourite treats
✨ Smells that take you right back
✨ Games played for hours on end

It was a beautiful mix of nostalgia, laughter, and shared stories - the kind of afternoon that reminds us why this group is so special.

Amazing work from Park Row Centre as they continue supporting our senior community.

🌟NOTICE OF CHANGES🌟
Over the coming weeks, we'll be making some changes at Park Row Centre as we look at new ways to develop and grow what we offer our senior community.

Breakfasts will continue on selected days, and tea, coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the week.

The Wednesday Community Lunch will be taking a break whilst we put new arrangements in place and consider how it develops in the future.

We're also exploring new ideas, activities and opportunities and look forward to sharing more with you soon.
