Singing, playing music and plenty of noise in the Bistro, with everyone joining in and having a good time together. You might need to adjust those hearing aids if you’re lucky enough to wear them! 😄🎵

We had a great evening at the Hythe Venetian Fete last month, with our residents and team heading down to the canal to watch the decorated floats make their way past. 🎉

As the evening went on and the lights came on, there was so much to take in. From the costumes and colourful displays to seeing the canal completely transformed after dark, it certainly gave us plenty to talk about. ✨

We were also very proud for Martello Manor to sponsor the accessible seating area this year, helping make this much-loved Hythe tradition easier for more people in our community to enjoy. Being part of local life means a lot to us, and even more so when our residents can be right there enjoying it too. 💚

We really do value the relationships we have with our neighbours, and it’s the little acts of kindness that remind us why those connections matter. 💚

For our recent Rodeo event, our neighbours at , a family business in Hythe, donated folding tables and benches and even kindly delivered them to us. Some of the team also came along on the day, which was lovely.

And today, Jude called past with homemade cookies from the Martello Manor Kitchen Team, along with a box of beers. A very welcome Friday afternoon delivery! 🍪🍻

UNO got a little competitive at today’s Thursdays Together Club at Martello Manor! 🃏

We had Tracy and the Hythe Dementia Awareness Forum with us for an afternoon of creativity, conversation and connection. The club runs the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday monthly from 12pm to 3pm, welcoming carers and loved ones to spend some time together in a relaxed setting. 💙

It’s a chance to get together, try something different and simply enjoy an afternoon with others. Today, it was UNO that brought everyone around the table. 💚

It was lovely to hear so many people coming back to us after Martello Manor’s Rodeo Fest launch party saying what a great day they’d had. The Country & Western theme brought everyone together, with residents, families, friends, the team and people from the local community enjoying good food, dancing, plenty of laughter and each other’s company. 🤠💚

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate the opening of Martello Manor, and for all the support we’ve received so far. It meant a lot to see so many people there.

A big thank you to Barbara from for capturing the day so beautifully. We’ve got plenty more moments from the day to share with you soon. 📸 so watch this space!

Some exciting news💚 The Care Labs has been named a finalist for Innovation in Care Homes Technology at the Leaders in Care Awards 2026. 🎉

The Care Labs was created to make reliable, practical care information easier for everyone to access. From understanding dementia and supporting a loved one to funding, wellbeing and preparing for care, it’s a free resource designed to educate and inform.

Since launching earlier this year, around 2,000 people have already used it. Behind that number are families looking for answers, often at a time when there’s already a lot to think about.

We’re proud to see something created to make those moments a little easier recognised nationally. Fingers crossed for October! 🤞💚

Yesterday was a big one for Martello Manor. 🤠💚

Rodeo Fest marked our community grand launch, and looking back at the highlights, what stands out most isn’t just everything that was going on. It’s seeing the home full of people.

Residents, families, our team and members of the wider community all came together, with different generations enjoying the day side by side. That’s exactly the kind of community we hoped would grow here. 😊

Martello Manor is still a new home, so seeing those relationships already blossoming and so many local people coming through our doors meant a lot to us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Rodeo Fest and made our grand launch feel like a proper community celebration. Here’s a little look back at the day. 🎥🤠
