☀️🐶 Sunshine, smiles, and a very special visitor! 💛

Our residents made the most of the beautiful weather today, enjoying time outdoors in the sunshine, wearing their sun hats, chatting together, and relaxing in the garden.

To make the day even more special, we were delighted to welcome our newest four-legged friend, Bentley! 🐾 The visit brought so many smiles, cuddles, and happy memories, with residents enjoying spending time getting to know this adorable puppy.

Moments like these show how the simple pleasures—fresh air, good company, and a wagging tail—can brighten everyone’s day and support wellbeing.

🚌☀️ A lovely day out by the seaside! 🍦

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip out on the bus today, taking in the beautiful seafront views and soaking up the fresh sea air.

We also stopped at the local market for a browse before treating ourselves to a “naughty” ice cream – because every now and then, everyone deserves a little indulgence! 🍦😊

Days out like these are a fantastic way to enjoy the community, create new memories, and spend quality time together. Judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces, it was a day to remember!

💛 Another week filled with meaningful moments at Alban House 💛

Our residents have enjoyed a wonderful variety of activities throughout each of their days, with something for everyone to take part in.

🎵 Listening to music and singing along in the dining room
🫧 Having fun with bubbles, bringing lots of smiles and laughter
🌸 Getting creative by making beautiful flower crowns, including one thoughtful resident who made a special flower crown as a surprise for Emma from our admin team
☕ Lending a helping hand with the tea trolley, promoting independence and purpose
💅 Enjoying a relaxing nail pamper session
🎬 Finishing the day by settling down together for a movie in the lounge

It’s these everyday moments of kindness, creativity, friendship, and fun that make Alban House such a special place. Every activity, no matter how big or small, helps create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our residents.

🌱 Growing our own, together! 🌱

Our residents have been enjoying getting their hands dirty and helping to grow our own fruit, vegetables, and plants in the garden.

Gardening is a wonderful way to spend time outdoors, encouraging gentle exercise, teamwork, and a sense of achievement as we watch everything grow. It’s lovely to see everyone taking pride in caring for the garden and looking forward to the harvest.

There’s nothing quite like growing your own and enjoying the rewards together! 🌿💚
