New clinic. New vibes. Same beautiful, natural transformations 🤍

This lovely lady was the very first to have a full-face transformation in my brand-new clinic - and what a special one it was.

We used 5ml of dermal filler, carefully placed across the cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds and chin to restore balance, soften and freshen the face as a whole. Nothing overdone. Nothing that changed who she was. Just a fresher, more confident version of herself.

I honestly wish I could have recorded her reaction. It was probably one of the most emotional and dramatic reactions I’ve ever had, in the most beautiful, positive way.

Because these transformations are about so much more than filler. They’re about helping women feel lovely in their own skin again.

What a weekend. 🥹

I honestly don’t think I’ve quite processed it yet.

After months of planning, building, stressing, spending an obscene amount of money 😂 and wondering on more than one occasion what on earth I’d got myself into… The Aesthetics & Skin Co is officially OPEN.

And the amount of you who came through those doors on Saturday genuinely overwhelmed me.

Clients who’ve been with me for years, familiar faces, new faces, friends, family and people who simply popped in to wish me well - thank you. More than you know. 🤍

I’ve worked incredibly hard for this little dream of mine and seeing the clinic full of people on Saturday made all of the stress just about worth it. 😂

There are still a few finishing touches happening behind the scenes (because apparently nothing is ever straightforward 🙃), but I am now fully open and taking appointments from my beautiful new Ilkeston clinic.

And if you didn’t manage to make the Open Day, I still have some of our lucky dip vouchers left in clinic, every one contains a discount, from 10% off right up to HALF PRICE treatments, and they’re valid until 14th November. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

A little sneak peek… because yes, I’m still here grafting, cleaning, mopping and trying to get absolutely everything ready for tomorrow. 😂

I’m not going to lie - I am sh****ng myself.

This is, without doubt, the biggest thing I have ever taken on in my entire life. Would I recommend it? Absolutely fu***ng not. But here we are… and somehow, it’s finally time to open the doors!

Come and have a glass of fizz, grab a little treat and, most importantly, come and give me a hug because I think I’m going to need one!

I’ve also got some lovely bags to give away, just because I love you guys and this is my little way of saying thank you for all your support.

This was an emotional one… 🤍

This beautiful lady came to me after going through one of the worst things anybody could ever imagine: cancer.

Thankfully, she is now in remission, but everything she had been through had understandably taken its toll. After spending so long focusing on getting through it all, she felt ready to do something for herself and asked me to help give her some of her sparkle back.

We used 5ml of carefully placed dermal filler to gently restore some of the volume and structure she had lost, bringing softness and freshness back to her face without changing the person looking back at her.

Because that is always the aim with my transformations. It isn’t about making somebody look different. It is about helping them look healthier, fresher, more rested and more like themselves again.

When I handed her the mirror at the end of her treatment, she burst into tears, and honestly, it was incredibly difficult not to cry with her.

The transformation itself was beautiful, but seeing what it meant to such a genuinely kind-hearted lady made it even more special. After everything she had endured, she deserved to feel good when she looked in the mirror.

This is why I love what I do. It is so much more than filler. Sometimes, it is about helping somebody recognise themselves again after life has put them through more than anyone should ever have to endure.

Saturday 12th September is the day 🤍

I know I’ve been going on about this new clinic for what feels like forever, so I’m sorry if I’ve bored you all senseless with it, but this is your official invitation to come and have a look around and celebrate with us.

I wanted to create something new and beautiful for Ilkeston because, quite frankly, we deserve nice things in this town.

I didn’t want a clinic that felt cold, clinical or intimidating. I wanted it to feel beautiful and luxurious, but also warm, welcoming and completely down to earth. Somewhere you can walk through the door, instantly feel comfortable and know that you’ll be looked after.

Ilkeston is my hometown. It’s where I’ve built my business and where so many of you have supported me, trusted me and kept coming back to me over the years. I’ll always be proud to bring the very best treatments, products and experiences I possibly can right here for all of us.

This clinic has so much of my personality in it, and an unbelievable amount of love, thought, stress and hard work has gone into creating it. I genuinely cannot wait for you all to see it.

I will also be doing a huge appreciation post for the fantastic team of people who have helped bring all of this to life from May until now. Yes, I’m fairly sure some of them will walk away absolutely hating me 😂 but it wouldn’t sit right with me not to properly recognise every person who has played a part in building this place.

14 DAYS TO GO… send Jesus, holy water and possibly a fu***ng miracle 🙏🏼😂

I genuinely don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this point. I’ve had a few days away this week. My first proper break this year. I wasn’t even supposed to be back until next week, but I couldn’t settle because I just had that feeling that things weren’t going to be where they needed to be.

And lo and behold… here we are 😂

I think the thing that frustrates me most is that I set deadlines for a reason. I’m more than happy to pay good money for good work, but when you’re charging top money, I expect the same urgency and commitment to a deadline that I give to my own business.

Because ultimately, when things don’t get done, it’s me that picks up the pieces. Me that loses my weekend. Me that rearranges everything. And me stood here on bank holiday weekend looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards, wondering how the f**k I’m going to pull this off in 14 days 😂

The wrong beauty bed has been delivered. The back wall isn’t even painted and Meg is coming Tuesday to install the flowers. There’s signage waiting to go up. My beautiful new floor is currently buried under absolute chaos. And I’m supposed to start moving things from one clinic to another in just a few days

So… happy bank holiday to me 😂 Paintbrush out. Sleeves up. Let’s fu***ng go. #

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learnt building this place, sometimes if you want a job doing, you’ve just got to get on and do it yourself.

And despite today’s mini meltdown, I have to say… the rest of it is looking bloody beautiful. It’s finally starting to look like the clinic I’ve had in my head all this time.

14 days. We WILL be ready.

Even if I have to personally drag this place over the finish line myself. 😂

Right, before anybody asks, no, I didn’t secretly meet Dolly Parton 😂 This photograph was made using AI, but bloody hell, I wish it were real!

I’ve always loved Dolly because she never apologised for wanting to look fabulous. She loved the hair, the makeup, the b***s, the surgery, the rhinestones, all of it, and she never pretended otherwise.

And do you know what? Good for her.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look good. There is nothing shallow about having Botox, filler, skin treatments or anything else that makes you feel more confident when you look in the mirror.

It doesn’t mean you hate yourself. It doesn’t mean you’re frightened of getting older. And it certainly doesn’t mean you owe anybody an explanation for how you choose to spend your own bloody money.

Some women want completely natural, untouched ageing. Some of us would quite like a little help along the way, and neither choice makes one woman better than the other.

My job has never been to turn you into somebody else. It’s to help you look fresher, feel more confident and still recognise the woman looking back at you.

So if you’ve been thinking about having a treatment but worrying about what somebody else might say, take a little advice from Dolly:

I feel so incredibly lucky that, week in and week out, my diary is full of women who come back to see me over and over again.

Women who trust me, recommend me to their friends and family, and have supported me through every stage of growing this business.

Social media can make you think success is all about followers, views and attention. But I genuinely couldn’t care less about being internet famous.

I just want to be really fu***ng good at my job.

Seeing the same names in my diary, some of you for years now, means more to me than any number on Instagram ever could. You’ve brought your mums, daughters and friends to me, followed me from one clinic to another and continued to put your trust in me. I don’t think you’ll ever fully understand what that has allowed me to build.

And if you’ve been considering treatment but feel nervous about choosing the right person, what you see with me is what you get.

You’ll be welcomed into an immaculate, private clinic where your appointment time is yours. You’ll have time to talk, ask questions and be honest about what’s worrying you and what you’d like to achieve.

I’ll always give you my honest opinion, even if that means telling you that you don’t need a treatment or that something isn’t right for you. There’s no judgement and no pressure, just honest advice and a space where you’ll be properly looked after.

It’s also why I offer membership plans and different ways to spread the cost, not to encourage anyone to spend beyond their means, but to make looking after yourself feel manageable.

Honestly, I need to stop having ideas because every single one seems to cost me an absolute fortune… but this one is going to be SO worth it.

When I started planning the new clinic, I didn’t just want it to look beautiful. I wanted to completely raise the standard of what was available locally.

There are treatments I’ve been watching for years, treatments you’d usually have to travel to Harley Street for and pay Harley Street prices to access.

Well… not anymore.

The new clinic isn’t just bringing a new look, a new name and a beautiful new space. It’s bringing an entirely new standard of treatment to Ilkeston.
