Today’s activity brought plenty of smiles as residents tested their coordination, concentration, and teamwork in a lively balloon game! Using colourful pool noodles, everyone joined in to keep the balloon afloat, sharing laughter and encouraging one another along the way. 💛

Activities like these help promote movement, social interaction, and most importantly—lots of fun! 😊

Earlier in May, we were delighted to welcome the talented Back To Brass to Kensington Care Home for a wonderful live performance. 🎶

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, singing along to familiar tunes, tapping their feet to the music, and sharing smiles throughout the performance. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together and create some truly special memories.

A big thank you to the Back to Brass for providing such an entertaining and uplifting experience for our residents. We look forward to welcoming them back again in the future! 🎻🎺🎵

Earlier in May, our residents enjoyed celebrating International Food Day – Taste of Italy! 🇮🇹

The dining room was transformed with Italian-themed decorations as everyone came together to enjoy a delicious menu inspired by the flavours of Italy. From savoury favourites to indulgent desserts, the day was filled with great food, laughter, and wonderful company.

Residents at Kensington recently took part in a traditional Sinhala Dansal, embracing the spirit of generosity and community that is at the heart of the Vesak celebrations.

Dansals are a hallmark of Vesak, transforming the Buddhist festival into a nationwide public act of giving, where food and refreshments are freely shared with others. Our residents enjoyed learning about and participating in this meaningful cultural tradition, celebrating kindness, compassion, and togetherness.
