Some days, I look perfectly fine on the outside, but on the inside, my body is fighting a battle I didn’t ask for.
Living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a rollercoaster that a lot of people don’t see. It’s not just “joint pain”—it’s the deep exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix, the morning stiffness that makes simple tasks feel like a marathon, and the constant mental weight of wondering how my body will feel when I wake up tomorrow.
There are days when I feel strong and capable, and there are days when the simplest things feel impossible. I’m learning to be kinder to myself on those harder days, reminding myself that it’s okay to rest, and that my worth isn’t defined by how much I can “push through.”
If you’re living with RA or any chronic condition, I see you. The fatigue is real, the pain is valid, and you are doing your best—which is always enough. 💜
