I thought I’d try a bit more from the heart, I normally try and put up glossy pictures on my Instagram page. This is me from a horrendous angle with my favourite person in the front. We are making potions he has recently become aware that grandma is probably a witch. This is his last summer holiday before he goes to school. I am going to miss him. Becoming a grandma was one of the nicest things to happen in my life. He brings me joy, he asks me questions I never know the answer to. That is one of the fun things about this stage in my life. I think I am fully embracing the Crone era and I’m going to enjoy it.

So this is me, I’m round my hair desperately needs to be coloured, but I haven’t got round to making an appointment and I rattle when I walk due to the amount of tablets I’m on for my health issues. I’ve decided to stop hiding and totally embrace who I am. I’m even considering doing a podcast. It will probably just involve me complaining, trying to use things in my life to help others find positivity in theirs. I recently made a wonderful lady who has a radio show about paying it forward I like to try and pay forward in life, maybe this is something I should consider.

I am really sad just now. Im writing this not because I want sympathy, but because I wanted people to know Therapists don’t have all the answers.. I lost my little dog Bella on Friday, she was 15 and she had been unwell for a while. This one really hurts, she had been at my side for a long time. I ve had a difficult few years and I’ve kept smiling, but this one hurts. I ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetes, but this is a real loss. I ve grieved many things in the last few years, my kids have left home, my husband became unwell due to work induced stress, but I kept going.

It seems unusual if you don’t have a pet to understand the loss you feel. It’s like losing a part of your heart. I’m just so sad and flat. If you have had a pet, you completely understand. Sending love to all those who the feeling.

Feeling stuck? Here are three simple, evidence-backed strategies you can try today to build confidence and make clearer decisions - and they work between online sessions too. 1) Habit reframing: pick one habit you want to change, rename it with a positive outcome (“pause to breathe”), and replace the old cue with a tiny, doable action. 2) Small exposure tasks: break a feared situation into tiny steps and practise the first step until it feels manageable. 3) Reflective journalling: spend 5-10 minutes noting one feeling, one trigger and one small response you tried. These methods help you notice progress, reduce overwhelm and move toward the outcomes I support clients to achieve. Want personalised guidance? Visit https://wix.to/c378DXi to learn more and book a session. What small step will you try today? 🌿✨
