GOODALL
It is with heartfelt gratitude that we acknowledge the many messages of support, cards and flowers received by Sandy’s family following his recent passing. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team at Raigmore Hospital, particularly Angela MacGregor and Rosie Doig, who were there for Sandy from the very beginning, for going above and beyond during the most challenging times (angels do walk among us). Grateful thanks also go to the Outpatients Cafe team for their kindness and humour over the past two years. Thanks also to everyone in the Macmillan Cancer Support Suite and the Radiology Department for their compassion and care. We are deeply thankful to the Out of Hours Team at Raigmore Hospital, especially Wendy and Jackie, for their exceptional care and advice, and tireless efforts in coordinating with other organisations to support Sandy’s care at home. Our sincere appreciation is extended to Dr John MacFadden of Burnfield Medical Practice for his professionalism and the time he generously gave to Sandy. We also thank all the staff at Burnfield Medical Practice for their help and support. To Brenda, Katie, and Joan (Macmillan Nurses) who cared for Sandy at the end, your compassion, dedication, and strength during such an emotional time were extraordinary. In those final moments, you still managed to gather a laugh from Sandy. Words can never fully express our gratitude for the care and comfort you provided. We are also profoundly grateful to everyone at Maggie's for their unwavering positivity, support, and love expressed to Sandy. To the Memory Buddies—you know who you are—thank you. Sandy loved and respected each of you dearly. Our heartfelt thanks go to Gomde and all those there who encouraged Sandy as he prepared for his final journey with acceptance, grace, and without fear. We would also like to acknowledge the members of Lodge St Columba 1295 for their kindness and support throughout Sandy’s illness and following his passing. Special thanks are due to Ross McKellar and Shona for ensuring everything ran so smoothly on the 30th of May for Sandy’s memorial. An especially heartfelt thank you goes to Bob MacDougall and Kenny Clunas. You were true brothers to Sandy in every sense of the word. The love and support you gave to Sandy and his immediate family throughout his illness and beyond will always be deeply cherished. Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to George, Louis, Kelsey, Nicole, and Rachel at D. Chisholm & Sons. The respect, care, guidance, and support shown to Sandy and his family were truly exceptional. From the moment we first met, your compassion and professionalism made us feel as though we were being cared for by family.
