This morning, Janet enjoyed a lovely pamper session here at Culduthel Care Home, complete with freshly styled hair and beautifully done nails 💛🌸

It was a calm and uplifting start to the day, filled with smiles, conversation and a little bit of well‑deserved indulgence. Moments like these bring such joy and confidence to our residents — and we love seeing them shine ✨

📚🌞 A Busy & Brilliant Week for David! 🌞📚

David has enjoyed a fantastic variety of activities this week here at Culduthel Care Home, keeping both his mind and body active 💛✨

He had great fun threading pasta onto pipe cleaners, a brilliant way to support fine‑motor skills and cognitive focus — and he did a wonderful job too! 🎨👐

David also loves spending time in our café, relaxing with a coffee and a good chat ☕

One of the highlights of the week was reading Sparkle News together. David especially enjoyed the story about the first duo to reach the top of Mount Everest — no surprise, as he’s a keen walker who loves climbing hills and being outdoors ⛰️🌿

We rounded things off with a fun memory game using cups, which brought plenty of smiles and friendly competition 🎉🧠

It’s been a joy seeing David embrace so many activities with enthusiasm and positivity. Here’s to many more lovely moments ahead 💕🌼

🌸🚗 Ladies’ Afternoon Out at Culduthel! 🚗🌸

Our ladies enjoyed a wonderful afternoon outing, starting with a peaceful visit to Dores Beach before taking a leisurely drive through the countryside 💛🌿

There was so much to chat about along the way — from the llamas in the fields (which caused plenty of laughter and conversation!) to the beautiful flowers and even the strawberry trees we spotted on our route 🍓🌼

It was simply lovely to get out for a drive, enjoy the fresh air and spend time together. In today’s photos you’ll see Heather and Donalda enjoying their day out, with a few more ladies joining us who prefer not to appear on social media 💛

A relaxed, happy afternoon filled with great company and lovely views — just perfect.

🚗🌊 A Sunny Road Trip for Our Men’s Club 🌊🚗

David and John enjoyed a brilliant road trip as part of our Men’s Club here at Culduthel Care Home 💛🌞

They took in the beautiful views of North Kessock before heading along to Ardersier Beach, soaking up the fresh air, peaceful scenery and plenty of sunshine. It was the perfect outing for good conversation, shared memories and a relaxing afternoon by the water 🌿🌊✨

These simple moments of connection and adventure mean so much — and it’s always lovely to see our gentlemen enjoying time together out and about 💕

🎁😄 Guess the Object Fun at Culduthel! 😄🎁

This afternoon’s Guess the Object game brought plenty of laughter, curiosity and brilliant moments here at Culduthel Care Home! Our residents had great fun trying to work out what mystery items were hidden inside the box 👀✨

One standout moment came from Donalda, who had everyone in stitches. She was absolutely convinced there might be a hedgehog inside… and wondered if it was about to nibble her fingers! 🦔😂 Her reaction had the whole room smiling.

It’s these light‑hearted moments — full of imagination, giggles and shared fun — that make afternoons like this so special 💛🌼

🌸🫖 A Wonderful Afternoon at Ladies Group 🫖🌸

Our ladies came together for a lovely Ladies Group, and it was full of fun, memories and great conversation 💛

We explored a range of props and chatted about wash boards, butter paddles, and even held a friendly competition to see who could hang the washing the best — lots of laughter all round! 👗✨

The ladies also enjoyed looking through old money and retro toys, sparking wonderful stories and shared memories from years gone by. These moments of connection are truly special 🌼💬

We rounded off the afternoon with a cosy cuppa, enjoying each other’s company and the joy that comes from reminiscing together ☕💕

🎉🎂 A Very Special 90th Birthday Celebration for Kath 🎂🎉

We were delighted to celebrate Kath’s 90th birthday at the beginning of June here at Culduthel Care Home 💛✨

Kath enjoyed marking her special day with a lovely cake, plenty of smiles and lots of warm wishes from everyone. Reaching such a wonderful milestone is truly something to celebrate, and it was a joy to share the moment with her 🎈

Wishing Kath continued happiness, laughter and many more special memories ahead 💐💛

☀️ Enjoying the Sunshine at Culduthel Care Home ☀️

Here at Culduthel, we’ve been making the most of the beautiful weather, getting outdoors and enjoying plenty of fresh air 🌼

Our weekly exercise classes have been taking place outside as much as possible, creating a fun and uplifting way to stay active together ✨

Residents have also been enjoying relaxing walks and time in nature, taking in the surroundings and sharing lovely moments along the way 😊🌳

Spending time outdoors brings such a positive boost, and it’s been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the sunshine 🌟

🍫🎂 Baking Fun at Culduthel Care Home 🎂🍫

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon of baking here at Culduthel, making some delicious crispy cakes!

Residents got involved in different ways, with some choosing to work in pairs while others preferred to create their treats individually - making it a flexible and enjoyable experience for everyone 😊

The session was filled with laughter, teamwork and creativity, and of course, the finished cakes looked fantastic 🌟

A fun and meaningful activity that brought everyone together and added a little sweetness to the day 🍰💛

🐾💛 A Visit from Noodle! 💛🐾

Our residents were delighted to welcome Noodle, a beautiful Spanish Mastin, for a visit — and he certainly brought plenty of smiles with him! 🐶✨

A big thank you to Louisa from our activities team for bringing her lovely dog to work. We truly value pet therapy here at Culduthel, as these calm, friendly interactions bring so much comfort, joy and companionship to our residents 💕🌼

Noodle’s gentle nature and wagging tail made the afternoon extra special — we’re already looking forward to his next visit!
