🚲🦆 Residents at Culduthel Care Home enjoyed another fantastic outing with Spokes for Folks, making the most of the dry weather for a trip to the duck ponds.

The cycle gave residents the chance to get out and about, enjoy the local scenery and spend time in great company. There was even an opportunity to feed the ducks, which proved to be a popular part of the afternoon. 🌿

Along the way, there was plenty of conversation with the wonderful volunteers, whose warmth and enthusiasm help make every trip so enjoyable. These outings are a great way to stay connected with the local community while enjoying time outdoors together.

A big thank you to the Spokes for Folks team and volunteers for another memorable afternoon. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure! 🚲✨🦆

🚤✨ A Memorable Afternoon on the Caledonian Canal! ✨🚤

Our residents at Culduthel Care Home recently enjoyed a wonderful day sailing along the beautiful Caledonian Canal with the fantastic team from The Seagull Trust Cruises. 💙

🎶 With beautiful Scottish music playing, plenty of conversation flowing and breath taking scenery all around, the trip provided a truly special experience for everyone onboard.

🌿 Residents spent the afternoon admiring the stunning views, sharing stories and enjoying quality time together. There was lots of laughter, smiles and memorable moments throughout the journey, making it a day to remember. 😊

💬 The outing was such a success that many residents are still chatting about their incredible adventure along the canal and recalling their favourite parts of the trip!

👏 A huge thank you to the wonderful volunteers at The Seagull Trust Cruises for their warm welcome, kindness and support throughout the day. Your dedication helped make this experience so enjoyable for everyone.

🎶💃 There was plenty of music, singing and dancing at Culduthel Care Home as residents enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment from Katie-Louise.

From Scottish folk favourites to a stirring rendition of Auld Lang Syne to close the show, the afternoon had everyone tapping along, joining in and enjoying the performance together. 🎤✨

Live music always brings people together, creating opportunities to share favourite songs, reminisce and enjoy time in good company. It was wonderful to see so many residents taking part and making the most of the occasion.

A big thank you to Katie-Louise for a brilliant performance and for bringing such a memorable afternoon to Culduthel. 🎶

🐾 We had a very special visitor at Culduthel Care Home recently as Vicky the kitten came in to meet our residents.

Vicky quickly became the centre of attention, especially among our cat lovers, as residents enjoyed spending time with her and stopping for a cuddle and a chat. Her visit sparked plenty of conversation and brought people together throughout the afternoon. 🐱

Animals often become a natural talking point, and it was lovely to see residents sharing stories about their own pets and enjoying Vicky’s company along the way.

Thank you, Vicky, for such a lovely visit. We hope to see you back at Culduthel again soon! ✨🐾

🌞🌳 Taking advantage of the sunshine, Ginny enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the garden and a visit to the park at Culduthel Care Home.

While out and about, Ginny spotted that our home sign had been blown down by the wind. Not one to let it stay there for long, she quickly found a new spot for it! 😊

It was a simple but enjoyable morning, spending time outdoors, taking in the fresh air and noticing the little things that help make our home feel special. 💙

Moments like these highlight the importance of choice, independence and staying connected to everyday life, both inside and outside the home. 🌿✨

☀️🤸‍♀️ A gentle stretch is one of our residents’ favourite ways to start the day at Culduthel Care Home.

Each morning, residents come together to enjoy some light stretching, helping them feel ready for the day ahead and prepared for the activities to come. It’s a simple part of the daily routine that everyone looks forward to.

As well as supporting mobility and flexibility, these sessions are a great opportunity to spend time together, catch up with friends and enjoy a few laughs along the way. 😊

It’s often the everyday moments that make such a difference, and this is a lovely example of residents enjoying an active and social start to their day. 💙✨

An Afternoon of Hymns and Togetherness 🎶

It was a lovely afternoon at Culduthel as Alan and Kenny from the church joined residents for a special sing-along.

The room was filled with the sound of familiar hymns as residents sang together, enjoying both the music and each other's company.

These shared moments often spark conversation and bring people together, and it was wonderful to see so many residents taking part and enjoying the afternoon.

A visit that was appreciated by all involved.

Bee, the therapy dog, spent the morning visiting residents at Culduthel Care Home, moving around the home and taking her time to meet everyone. Her gentle nature made the visit feel calm and easy, with plenty of relaxed moments shared along the way. ❤️🐾

Residents, colleagues and visiting families all paused to say hello, creating a warm atmosphere that carried through the building.

A simple visit, but a lovely part of everyday life here at Culduthel.

Residents at Culduthel Care Home spent the afternoon celebrating International Beer Day in a way that felt fun and a little different. Our colleagues transformed the cinema room into an in‑house pub, complete with hot pies, pork scratchings, scampi fries and a selection of beers from around the world.

Residents took their time choosing what they fancied, enjoying a mix of snacks, conversation and familiar Scottish songs that had people joining in. The afternoon rounded off with a pub quiz, bringing everyone together before heading back into the usual rhythm of the day.

A relaxed and enjoyable moment shared here at Culduthel.

🎨🌿 A Calm and Creative Afternoon at Culduthel 💛✨

Our residents at Culduthel Care Home enjoyed another wonderfully relaxing afternoon of painting — a favourite activity that always brings out so much creativity and calm. With a little inspiration from Bob Ross, everyone settled into a peaceful rhythm, fully focused on their artwork and expressing their artistic talents 🎨😊

It’s clear we have many talented artists here at Culduthel, and the concentration, colour and imagination on display made the whole afternoon feel extra special. A perfect blend of relaxation and creativity 💛🌼
