We’re getting excited for our Daviot Daisy Family Fun & Craft Fair and we would love your support to help make it extra special for everyone 💛
We are kindly looking for donations of:

🏺 Bric-a-brac
🎁 Raffle prizes
Every contribution, big or small, will help us create a wonderful day while raising funds for our residents’ activities and experiences 🌟

🎤✨ A Musical Afternoon at Daviot! ✨🎤

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Katy Louise to Daviot for a fantastic session of live music, featuring a selection of much-loved pop classics!

Residents and colleagues enjoyed a brilliant singalong, with familiar tunes filling the home and creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone to share. From toe-tapping favourites to heartfelt melodies, it was a truly uplifting experience.

A big thank you to Katy Louise for bringing such energy and joy to our home, we can’t wait to have you back! 🌟

🧀🎉 Celebrating National Cheese Day at Daviot! 🎉🧀

Our residents enjoyed a delicious cheese‑tasting afternoon in honour of National Cheese Day, and what a treat it was! From creamy and mild to rich and tangy, there was something for everyone to enjoy 💛🧀✨

The room was filled with smiles, great conversation and plenty of “oohs” and “aahs” as everyone sampled the different flavours. Simple moments like these bring so much joy to our home — and today was no exception 🌼

🎯 Bullseye Fun at Daviot! 🎯

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Darts Day here at Daviot! 💙

Our residents and colleagues enjoyed getting involved, showing off their aim and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. From friendly competition to cheering each other on, it was a wonderful way to spend time together and create special memories.

A big well done to everyone who took part, you were all brilliant!

We love bringing meaningful and enjoyable activities into our home, and this was certainly one to remember. 💫

🍪✨ National Biscuit Day at Daviot ✨🍪

What better way to celebrate than by getting hands-on in the kitchen! Our lovely residents took part in baking delicious homemade Empire biscuits

From mixing and decorating to, of course, the very best part… enjoying them afterwards with a warm cup of tea or coffee. The smiles around the table said it all!

Moments like these are what make each day special, sharing sweet treats, good company and plenty of laughter

Our colleague Sean, 2nd Chef at Daviot Care Home, will soon be taking on the Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK 💙

Sean is preparing to push himself and take on this exciting challenge, all in support of such an important cause

Our residents have been enjoying some artistic time using our interactive tablet, a fantastic option for those who prefer not to use traditional paints

It’s a wonderful way to explore creativity without the mess, while still experiencing all the joy and relaxation that art can bring. From colourful designs to imaginative expressions, every piece is unique and worth celebrating 🖌️✨

💙✨ Supporting a Wonderful Cause ✨💙

We’re delighted to share that an incredible £300 has been donated to the Seagull Trust, thanks to Gillian’s beautiful knitted sweet covers created for Christmas and Easter

Gillian’s creativity and kindness have made such a meaningful difference, turning small acts into something truly special for others 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this lovely initiative, and to Gillian for her time, talent, and dedication. It’s moments like these that show the power of community and generosity

🚤✨ Seagull Trust Boat Trip ✨🚤

What a wonderful day we had, enjoying a very special boat trip with the Seagull Trust 💙

Our Residents had the opportunity to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and lovely conversations along the way

There’s something truly calming about being out on the water, and it created such a peaceful and uplifting experience for everyone

A big thank you to the incredible Seagull Trust for making the trip so enjoyable, and to our dedicated colleagues who supported our Residents throughout the day 👏💛

Days like these create precious memories that we’ll be smiling about for a long time
