Situated in the heart of Inverurie our ethos at the centre is to promote and enhance health and well-being from head to toe. In today's busy world stress underlies a great deal of the physical and mental ill-health people experience and our aim is to help you deal with stress or other personal and emotional worries more effectively and support you to a place of wellness. Whether you want to tackle anxiety, depression or a stress related illness; manage an addiction, your weight or unhealthy eating and lifestyle patterns our professional, supportive team of practitioners can help. Psychologist Dr Susan Murray, leads a friendly and professional team of therapists offering a variety of treatment options which appeal to different personal preferences. Qualified practitioners of counselling & psychology are available alongside trained therapists providing therapeutic massage and alternative therapies, working individually or in combination to meet your well-being needs. Our innovative Mobile Wellness Team can also bring well-being therapies direct to your workplace to help combat stress and enhance well-being at work. Of course feeling good from the 'inside out' is important for achieving lasting change but looking good and making the best of ourselves outside too can go some way to assisting with an overall feeling of wellbeing, particularly if you are recovering from illness or when you want to feel confident and look your best for important life events. Expert help is available from our resident freelance make-up artist and bridal specialist Tammy Murray who is available by appointment for make-up lessons and make-overs. She also offers princess parties and bridal party make-up bookings either here in the centre or in your own home.

You have to grow your way. 🌱

What works for someone else might not work for you. Your pace might be different. Your priorities might be different. And where you want to end up is entirely your choice.

I love helping my clients explore what their way forward might look like, without telling them who they should be or where they should go.

Sometimes you just need a little help finding the next step.

If you feel ready to make some changes but aren't quite sure where to begin, please get in touch. Let's have a chat. 💛

Are you living life on autopilot?

Wake up. Work. Sort everyone else out. Get through the day. Go to bed. Repeat.

Sometimes autopilot is useful. It gets us through busy or difficult periods without having to think about every little thing.

But it's worth occasionally asking yourself:

Am I still choosing how I live, or am I simply doing what I've always done?

Stepping outside your comfort zone doesn't have to mean turning your life upside down. It might simply mean trying something different, challenging an old assumption or saying yes to something you'd usually avoid.

This interesting article from Psychologies explores how to switch off the autopilot and make a little more room for change and growth.

Have a read and see what resonates with you. 💛

I’ve shared this before, but it’s one of those things we all need reminding of now and then. It’s so easy to slide back into old grey habits without even noticing.

Today, try choosing the colourful options instead, the ones that bring joy, energy and connection. You’ll be amazed how quickly the shift makes a difference. 🌈✨

Where is your energy going right now? 💛

Into worrying about things you can't control?

Trying to keep everyone else happy?

Going over something that's already happened?

Or perhaps you're simply spreading yourself so thinly that there's very little left for you.

Sometimes it helps to pause and notice where your time, thoughts and emotional energy are actually going, and whether that's where you want them to go.

If you'd like some help working out what matters to you, what you can let go of and where you'd like to focus next, I'm here to help.

Let's have a chat and see what we can work on together. 💛

Are you tired… or are you running on empty?

Burnout can creep up on us.

We keep going, keep meeting deadlines, keep looking after everyone else and tell ourselves we'll slow down when things get quieter.

But what happens when they don't?

Mental Health UK has published its Burnout Report 2026, based on polling of more than 4,500 UK adults, exploring people's experiences and perceptions of burnout and the pressures contributing to it.

They've also put together a really useful collection of articles explaining what burnout is, the signs to look out for and practical ways to cope with and reduce its effects.

If you've been feeling physically, mentally or emotionally exhausted for a while, it's worth taking a few minutes to have a read.

And if it makes you recognise something in yourself that you'd like to talk about, please get in touch. 💛

Apparently NASA has a poster hanging with bees that reads:

"Aerodynamically a bee's body is not made to fly; the good thing is that the bee doesn't know ".

The law of physics says that a bee cannot fly, the aerodynamic principle says that the breadth of its wings is too small to keep its huge body in flight, but a bee doesn’t know, it doesn’t know anything about physics or its logic and flies anyway.

This is what we can all do, fly and prevail in every moment in the face of any difficulty and in any circumstance despite what they say.

Let us be bees, no matter the size of our wings, we take flight and enjoy the pollen of life.

Sometimes the simplest answer really is the best one.

And sometimes that answer is just one word…

No.

No lengthy explanation. No elaborate excuse. No feeling that you have to justify yourself to everyone.

Saying no can feel uncomfortable, particularly if you're used to putting other people's needs ahead of your own. But learning where your boundaries are, and feeling able to communicate them, can make a real difference.

And remember, saying no to something doesn't make you unkind or selfish.

If you need a hand setting boundaries that work for you, get in touch and let's have a chat about how I can help. 💛

Look for the magical things this week. 🌟

Not huge, life-changing moments.

The first sip of your morning coffee.
A song you love on the radio.
Someone making you laugh.
A beautiful sky.
A message from a friend.
Five quiet minutes just for you.

Life will always contain jobs, worries and things we'd rather not have to deal with.

But noticing the little bits of magic along the way can make the less magical stuff feel a little easier to manage.

Keep an eye out for yours this week. 💛
