💚 You Never Stop Having New Experiences 💚

It’s easy to assume that by the time someone reaches their later years, they’ve seen it all, done it all, and tried it all.

But today reminded us that’s not always the case.

One of the people we support had never tried macaroni cheese before 🍝

After all these years, this simple meal was a completely new experience.

So today, with a little encouragement and a homemade portion prepared with care, it was finally time to give it a go 😊

Now, was it a new favourite? Not quite! 😄

But that’s the wonderful thing about trying something new — sometimes you discover something you love, and sometimes you simply discover it’s not for you.

Either way, it’s a new experience, a new memory, and a reminder that you’re never too old to try something different 💚

Life is still full of firsts, no matter your age.

As one of the Directors of RVH Support Services and our Company Secretary, Tommy plays an important role behind the scenes, helping to support both our team and the people who use our services 🏡🤝

Tommy is always available for anyone who may have concerns, feedback, or complaints they’d like to raise, ensuring every voice is heard and every concern is taken seriously 💬
He also acts as a valuable sounding board for the team, offering support, guidance, and a fresh perspective whenever needed 🌟

Although Tommy doesn’t come from a care background, he brings something just as important — genuine empathy, strong values 🤝, and a real commitment to helping people.

When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him:

🐕 Walking his dogs through the countryside
⛳ Enjoying a round of golf
🏸 Playing squash
👦 Coaching local children and helping them develop their squash skills, confidence, and love for the game 🌟

And if you’ve ever met Tommy, you’ll know he’s never too far away from a good joke 😆😂 He’s always happy to bring a smile, lighten the mood, and keep everyone on their toes!🫣

We’re incredibly proud to have Tommy helping lead RVH Support Services and supporting our vision of providing compassionate, person-centred care throughout our communities 🏡💚✨
