The residents got a right fine treat this afternoon 🍦 We turned our shoppy cart into an ice cream trolley and decorated our dining room like an ice cream parlour ! We went to Bicocchies shop in Inverurie for some real Italian ice cream and served everyone a choice of strawberry, biscoff or plain in a cone with a flake on top ! 🍦
They all said how much they enjoyed their treat 😁

TRISHAW RIDES
Cycling without age emailed with a cancellation for this morning so the residents jumped at the chance of an extra trippy.
The tenants had decided at Mondays tenants meeting to give them a donation for all the good work they do bringing miles of smiles to groups so one of our tenants handed our donation over to one of the pilots this morning. Thank you again Cycling Without Age Scotland - Inverurie

Our stretch & relax session yesterday was postponed as our instructor Linda was unable to manage so the activity coordinators put everyone through their paces with musical chair exercises, soft ball and therabands exercises. It was nothing like as relaxing as Linda's class but the residents still got a lot of fun and were moving about at a fair pace to a Jimmy Shand cd ! I think they will welcome Linda back next week ! 😆

We did our lucky squares draw this afternoon by number generator and the winner of the malt wh**ky was Wendy who works with residents in one of the flats here at Pleyfauld House. She was delighted with her win 🥃 😊 Well done Wendy

The Rev Carl Irvine from St Andrews Church came in to do our church service this afternoon and then joined us for an afternoon tea

These tickets are now on sale. Get yours fast as they sell very quickly. There will be a raffle and also we will be selling fudge & tablet on the night. All proceeds go to the residents amenity fund. Please get your names to us as soon as you can to secure your tickets 😀

CHARLIE ESSON & BILL AIKEN ENTERTAINMENT
The residents said they had a really good afternoon on Friday singing along, dancing and clapping to Charlie & Bill. Some of the staff entertained them to the slosh (although there was a lot of hilarity as we were getting mixed up) It was a great afternoon as the band and the staff were very entertaining 😆🪗
The band joined us for a well deserved cuppa & cakes at the end of the afternoon 🍰 🫖 ☕

Coco came to visit the residents on Friday with her owner Moira. They visit lots of places offering pet therapy which is very much appreciated by some of the residents as you can see 🐾
