Peacefully, at ARI, on Monday, August 31, 2026, Michael (Mike), aged 55 years. Much loved son of John and Joy, loving dad to Michael and Sara, brother of the late John and a dear nephew, cousin and good friend to many. Funeral service at Bennachie Parish Church, Kintore, on Wednesday, September 9, at 11.00am, thereafter to Cluny Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. No flowers please, but donations in lieu, if desired, in aid of Kintore Men’s Shed at the church door.

Very sadly, at home, on Saturday, 15th August, 2026, Kat, aged 20 years. Beloved daughter of Darren and Rachael, sister of Charlotte and a dear niece and cousin. A celebration of Kat’s life will be held at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes, on Tuesday, 8th September, at 1.00pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, in lieu, if desired, in aid of Scottish Action for Mental Health, at the chapel door. Please feel free to wear a touch of colour.

Kit, Martin, Jill, Mia and wider family would like to sincerely thank everyone for all the cards, flowers, visits and kind words received during the very sad loss of Doug. Grateful thanks to Jeff Diack (Celebrant), for his warmth, kind support and for conducting a beautiful service. Sincere thanks to Sean and his team at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for the guidance and compassion shown to us all. Thanks to Floral Design for the beautiful flowers and to the Hopeville Social Club for their excellent catering. Heartfelt thanks to everyone at Garioch Care Home who looked after Doug in such a caring and professional way and also listened to his stories. A big thank you to everyone who attended the service at St Andrew’s Church and Inverurie New Cemetery and generously donated £1903 for Garioch Care Home. Such a loss to us all.

Eva’s family would like to thank, most sincerely, all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them during their recent loss. Our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Neil Meyer for his visits, support and most comforting service, to Alan our church beadle, to Mary for the lovely organ music and to Rusty for the flower arrangements. Our grateful thanks to Sean at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for his guidance, patience and caring support throughout. Thanks also to all the girls at Kerry’s Katering for the excellent refreshments and service they provided and to Flowers by Fiona for the beautiful flowers. Our very special thanks to the staff at Bennachie View Care Home for the tender loving care they provided at all times for Mum and also to all the family. Finally, grateful thanks to all who attended the church service and graveside and so generously donated £1000 for Bennachie View Care Home.

It’s with broken hearts, we announce the sad passing of John, aged 44 years, on Friday, August 21, 2026, at ARI, surrounded by his loving family and dedicated medical staff. Best friend and much loved husband of Joanne, devoted dad to Abbie and Darcie, beloved son of Johnny and Lorna, cherished brother of Kaye and Janice, loving son-in-law of Ian and Shona, dear brother-in-law to Gary, Linda, Neale and Alana, a special uncle to Drew, Ellie, Freya, Elsie, Eiryn and Ayda and a very good friend to many. A celebration for John’s life will be held at Strathbogie Drumblade Church, Bogie Street, Huntly, on Thursday, September 3 at 1.00pm, thereafter to Huntly Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, in aid of The Leanne Fund, at the church door. Please wear a touch of colour in honour of John.

Geordie’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy by way of cards, flowers, messages of support and visits, following their sudden loss. Sincere thanks to Hazel Youngson for her celebration of his life, Michelle at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for her professional care and guidance, Norman for playing the pipes at Baldarroch, Flowers by Fiona for the beautiful flowers and Fiona Forrest and her team from The Market Café for the lovely teas served at Crathes Hall. Finally, thank you to all who paid their last respects and generously donated £550 in aid of the Stroke Unit ARI, your kindness and support have been a great comfort.

Ron, Alison, Darlene and Joe would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy by way of cards, flowers, messages of support and visits, following the very sad and sudden death of Jamie. We are especially grateful to Sean of Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for his compassionate handing of all the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Jac Ruddy for her comforting and uplifting service for the celebration of Jamie's life, to Flowers by Fiona for producing exactly what we wanted and to The Hopeville Social Club for the venue and excellent teas. A very special thank you to Paul, John and the many others who made it possible to have Jamie's tractor at the door. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and kindness by everyone on the day of the funeral and to all who generously donated an amazing £2,600 to SAMH. Jamie will be sorely missed forever.

It is with huge sadness we announce the very peaceful passing of Douglas (Doug) Trail, aged 73 years, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Garioch Care Home, Inverurie. Doug faced a long illness with great courage and patience. He was a dearly loved husband of Kit, devoted dad to Martin and Jill, cherished granda of Mia and a dear father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Funeral service at St Andrew’s Parish Church, Inverurie, on Thursday, August 20, at 1.00pm, thereafter to Inverurie New Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited.
