Maureen, Sharon, Morag and Aileen would like to thank all relatives, friends and carers for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, calls, messages and flowers received on the sad passing of David. Special thanks to Jan Hughes for capturing David so well in her service, Brian and Jade for going above and beyond at Baldarroch, Dolce Vita for the beautiful flowers and the Milton of Crathes for the welcoming teas. Sincere thanks to Rona and all the staff at Eric P Massie Funeral Directors for their dignity and kindness shown to Maureen. Finally, to all who paid their last respects and generously donated £523 to Dementia Scotland. We thank you all, David will be sorely missed.

Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Saturday, August 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy (June) Chalmers (Nee Fiddes) aged 84 years. Devoted wife of the late James (Jim), much loved mum of Darren and Dawn, cherished granny to Ben and Chloe and great-granny to Max and Ash. A celebration of June’s life will be held at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes on Monday, September 14 at 2.30pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired in aid of Alzheimer Scotland at chapel exit.

June and family would like to take this opportunity to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their support and sympathy during our recent sad loss of our dearly loved dad, grandad and brother. Grateful thanks go to Sharon and the team at Eric Massie Funeral Directors for their guidance and Ronnie Kain for the wonderful words and enlightenment along with the Tor Na Colle, Banchory for the lovely teas.
Finally thanks to everyone who attended the service to pay their respects and generously donated £1620.00 which has been split between Marie Curie and British heart Foundation. Billy will be remembered forever with love.
