The Strumbelles brought such joy to Grove Care Home this afternoon, filling the place with music, toe‑tapping rhythms and plenty of sing‑along moments. 🎶💛

They’re an incredibly talented community group who visit us often, and it’s always a real pleasure to welcome them back. Their energy, warmth and wonderful music never fail to lift everyone’s spirits — today was no exception.

Residents at Grove Care Home had an extra‑special treat as they enjoyed their very own ‘Oasis Day’ — complete with music, fun and plenty of lively atmosphere. 🎶😄

There were smiles all round as everyone joined in, dancing, dining and soaking up the feel‑good vibes. It was a brilliant visit and a fantastic afternoon for our Grove community. 💛✨

☀️🎉 There was plenty of fun, laughter and friendly competition at Grove Care Home as residents came together for our Summer Celebration Party.

From the games to the great company, the afternoon was full of activity, with everyone keen to get involved. A competitive streak soon appeared as residents took on the challenges, cheered each other on and enjoyed every moment. 🏆😊

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, catch up with friends and enjoy the lighter side of daily life. It was lovely to see so many residents joining in and making the most of the celebration.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such an enjoyable occasion. Here's to many more afternoons like this! 💙☀️✨

🍛✨ There was a real treat on the menu at Grove Care Home as residents enjoyed a delicious Indian-themed lunch prepared by our talented kitchen team.

From the first course to the last, the menu proved to be a hit, with plates cleared all around and plenty of positive feedback at the table. Some residents even rounded off their meal with a beer and a chat, making the most of a relaxed afternoon in good company. 🍺

Sharing different cuisines is a wonderful way to bring variety to mealtimes, spark conversation and enjoy new experiences together. It was lovely to see everyone embracing the theme and enjoying the food on offer.

A big thank you to our catering team for another fantastic meal. 🍽️✨

🚲🌤️ We managed to fit in another lovely outing with Cycling Without Age before the rain arrived!

Residents enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking in the fresh air and familiar sights while enjoying a relaxing cycle with the support of the wonderful Cycling Without Age volunteers. 💙

These trips are always a great way to get out and about, spark conversation and stay connected with the local community. Whether admiring the scenery or simply enjoying being out in the open air, it was time well spent for everyone involved.

A big thank you to the Cycling Without Age team for making these outings possible. We always look forward to the next adventure! 🚲✨

🌱🥔 The garden has been a lovely place to spend time over the past few days at Grove Care Home, making the most of the sunshine whenever the weather has allowed.

Residents have been reflecting on all the time, care and effort that has gone into the garden this year. From watching flowers bloom to growing fresh vegetables, it has been wonderful to see the results of everyone's hard work taking shape. 🌼

This week brings an especially exciting milestone as we prepare to harvest our homegrown potatoes. And there's even more to look forward to, with Chef Cat promising to cook them just the way our residents like them! 👩‍🍳

From planting and tending to harvesting and enjoying the finished result, it's been a rewarding journey and a lovely example of residents enjoying life outdoors and seeing the fruits of their efforts. 💚☀️

👩‍🍳🎂 Busy Baking Day at Grove Care Home! 💛✨

It’s been a wonderfully busy day in the kitchen for Cat, our Head Chef, who has been hard at work baking all of our residents’ favourites — and the requests just keep coming in! 🍰

From sweet treats to comforting classics, Cat has been creating a delicious selection that’s brought plenty of smiles and happy chatter throughout the home. There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh baking to brighten everyone’s afternoon 🌼💛

We had an absolutely brilliant time at Grove Care Home celebrating our very own ‘National Michael Day’ - a fun tribute to our amazing handyman, Michael!

Residents had such a giggle taking part, and the group photo was full of smiles… though with everyone joining in, you might need to look twice to guess who the real Michael is 📸

A light‑hearted afternoon that brought joy, laughter and a lovely sense of togetherness.

Thursdays are always a favourite for our ladies at Grove Care Home, and it’s easy to see why — it’s pamper time! With the lovely Jackie, our hairdresser, everyone enjoys a relaxing treat, a fresh style, and a good chat to brighten the day 🌼

It’s such a simple joy, but one that brings confidence, comfort and plenty of smiles. A perfect mid‑week boost for our wonderful ladies 💛✨
