Sharing sad loss of Nirlipta Tuli, a great teacher and loss to all 😔

🙏🏽 RIP NIRLIPTA TULI (1964-2026)

🙏🏽 Blessings Beloved Souls, it with grief I share news of the death of my husband Nirlipta Tuli, aged 62, on 18 July 2026.

🙏🏽 He died swiftly and peacefully at home in Stroud after many years of profound ill-health.

🙏🏽 A visionary artist, writer, yoga therapist and meditation teacher, Nirlipta was the co-founder of the Yoga Nidra Network, and illustrator of Yoni Shakti.

🙏🏽 Nirlipta inspired many hundreds of students worldwide, and brought restful sleep to many through his yoga nidrā audio recordings. He generously gave much of his work away freely, for the benefit of all.

🙏🏽 Nirlipta was father to two sons Tejomaya (27), and Abhisheka (25) and two daughters, Rajakumari Prayaag (18) and Anastasia Tuli (who died in 2002 at the age of 14).

🙏🏽 He is survived by his mother Swami Suryabindu Saraswati (88) and his widow Umā Dinsmore-Tuli (60).

🙏🏽 Nirlipta left a considerable body of unfinished paintings, stories and yoga nidra audio recordings and instructions for practice.

🙏🏽 There are plans to invite contributions to a legacy fund to publish Nirlipta’s unfinished work; details of how to make gifts to this fund will be made avaialable over the coming weeks.

🙏🏽 For the moment please be patient as our family grieve his loss. 🙏🏽Thank you for holding Nirlipta and our family in your prayers at this time. We love you.
