MAYBE YOU CAN HELP?
This is from one of my followers...

I'm trying to return an RAF issued pocket watch from World War Two to it's rightful owner.
It's a gold filled Star Dennison, and inscribed inside is the name "G Thompson" and the service number 983328.
I believe he was recruited as a volunteer at Padgate in 1939-1940 and served as a wireless operator.

Any help with this and returning the watch to who it belongs to would be greatly appreciated.
