Mrs S is 95 years young 🥰 and it's not easy for her to get out of her house. So thank you to Right at Home Ipswich Caregiver Laura for assisting Mrs S get ready to travel to see her sister, to catch up and celebrate her sister's 102nd birthday.

Mrs S enjoys looking at family pictures and reminiscing about life events, and we hope this day out helped create another new memory for her and her extended family.

We all know how important family connections are, so thanks to each and every one of our Caregivers and our office team who help clients every day, to stay well and independent at home, and to stay connected to family, friends and community.🥰

The heat warning is expected to be in place until at least Thursday.

Thanks to our amazing Care Team for responding with helpful tips to keep themselves and our clients cool.

- A cooling towel refresh with cool water at every visit.

- Look to close windows and curtains in rooms that are sun-facing.

- A fine-mist spray bottle (good for keeping canine friends cool too!).

- Drink more water, less caffeine!

- Cooling patches for head and neck.

- Someone pointed out that clients who have memory loss/dementia MIGHT make the wrong choice of clothing for the weather, and to monitor this more.

Stacey Palmer - Client services coordinator.

Stacey has been with the company for over four years. She has worked her way up from being a caregiver to the rostering queen! This role is fast-paced and an essential part of the company. Stacey works closely with our clients and caregivers to maintain high standards and effective communication, which is an essential part of the role.
