Introduction to Mental Health
This 2-hour online workshop offers an introduction to Mental Health. It has been specifically developed for anyone supporting an individual in mental health distress and provides practical information and support.
After the workshop you will receive a small booklet of information from the course and can request a digital certificate of attendance.
When we receive your booking we will send an email invitation to access the workshop using Microsoft Teams, with full instructions of how to join by phone, tablet, or computer.
You will be able to see and hear the presenter, materials, and other resources, but you will not have to switch on your video or microphone if you do not want to. However, the training is interactional, and we encourage discussion. At the end of the training session there will also be an allotted time to ask questions.
Your workshop facilitator will be a fully qualified B.A.C.P accredited child and adolescent psychotherapist who is working directly with the children who come to Teenage Mental Health
The course is offered as either a carers course or professionals’ course, both are identical however the attendee will be with others who are either professionals or carers which will add value to the course.
