This Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course fully meets HSE requirements for workplace first aid and includes a nationally recognised qualification, valid for 3 years.

You’ll cover:

🔥 Burns & scalds
🩸 Minor & severe bleeding

☀️ Would you cover your pushchair with a blanket to keep your baby cool?

It seems like a good idea… but it can actually make the inside of the pushchair much hotter by reducing airflow and trapping heat.

Instead:
💙 Use the pushchair’s built-in sunshade.
💙 Keep the air circulating.
💙 Stay in the shade where possible.
💙 Offer feeds regularly to keep your baby hydrated.
💙 Avoid being outside during the hottest part of the day.

Small changes can make a big difference when temperatures rise.

What if I get sued for doing first aid?”

It’s one of the questions I’m asked on almost every course.

The fear of getting it wrong stops so many people from helping in an emergency.

💙 If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this video, it’s this:

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to help.

If you’re ever unsure, call 999. The emergency call handler will stay on the phone and guide you through what to do until help arrives.
