y that genuinely provides such a good quality service at a reasonable price.” As the original and longest running 4D scan studio in East Anglia our staff have many years experience in both 4D scans and 2D sexing scans, having only ever had 6 gender scans wrong in 12 years (over 25,000 clients). We were the first to offer our clients a 2D sexing scan for just £55 (with the option to see the baby in 4D free of charge). If you use moisturising creams please stop using them for a couple of weeks before the scan as the build up of moisturiser can interfere with the sound waves and cause less clear pictures. A high BMI will also affect the quality of the pictures as will an anterior placenta, to varying degrees, as again it diminishes the strength of the soundwaves which causes less sharp pictures. The principles of A 4D Baby are to provide the best possible service to our clients at the lowest price possible which is why we receive so many recommendations from our clients. We have always employed fully qualified Sonographers to carry out the scans and we use the GE E8 new HD scanner, the latest state of the art HD ultrasound machine. There is only one simple reason that we are cheaper than our competitors and that is that we do not make as much profit. We have not ever and will not ever charge clients extra if they are having twins, with twins please bear in mind that it is usual to get good pictures of one baby but not so good of the other. All our staff will do their best to get good pictures for you on the day.All our 4D scans include sexing of the baby. We have 100% accuracy on 2D scans over 20 weeks. Gender scans are now available from 15 weeks, We recommend a 4D scan is best 26-28 weeks and for twins from 23 weeks. Our free re-scans are only available to those gender scans over 15 weeks (who bring their notes) and 4D scans over 24 weeks or 23 weeks for twins. We take the physical and emotional well being of our clients very seriously which is why we strongly advise not to have a 2D scan under 20 weeks at the weekend. This is because if you have not had your 20 week anomaly scan you might not be aware of a problem and it is much harder to contact your medical provider at the weekend ( if any problems show up during the scan). Ultrasound has been used for the last 30 years and 4D has been available since 2004. It is not x ray and does not use radiation. Our equipment is fitted with a second isolator for added safety.
