Well… apparently September is when Nourish Her gets BUSY! 😂💗

Not one, but TWO new menopause spaces are starting in and around Ipswich — and they’re a little different, because not every woman wants or needs the same kind of support.

🌿 Nourish & Release The Hidden Garden Cafe Ipswich
Starting 1st September

Small, focused menopause wellbeing workshops exploring what’s happening in our changing bodies, nutrition, nervous system regulation and EFT — with practical information you can actually use.

Just 10 women per workshop, with afternoon and evening options.

🎟️ £10 per workshop — booking required

💗 Kesgrave Menopause Group Kesgrave Community & Conference Centre
Starting 10th September

A relaxed, welcoming community group where women can come together, learn, talk, ask questions and navigate menopause with other women who actually get it.

☕ £5 including refreshments
📍 Kesgrave
Registration required

One is a workshop. One is a community group. Same purpose: making sure women don’t have to figure menopause out on their own.

So whether you’re thinking…

“Just tell me what on earth is happening to me!” 😂

…or you’d simply like somewhere to talk, learn and be around women at the same stage of life — there’s something for you this September.

Both posters have all the details and how to register/book.

And just like that… we’re off! 🚀

Please feel free to share with a woman who might need this. ❤️

Have you ever thought about how a smoothie could support you through menopause? 🥤

And no… I don’t mean throwing a banana in a blender and hoping it sorts out your hormones. 😂

When I created my Nourish Her Menopause Smoothies, I wanted each smoothie to have a purpose.

I developed 10 different smoothies, each created around common menopause symptoms including:

🧠 Brain fog
🔥 Hot flushes
😴 Sleep
💜 Mood
⚡ Energy
…and more.

Each one uses simple, everyday ingredients chosen for the nutrients they provide and the role those nutrients can play in supporting our bodies through menopause.

Nothing weird.
Nothing you haven’t heard of.
And definitely no ingredients you can’t pronounce, let alone know what they actually are. 😂

Just real, accessible foods combined in a really easy way.

Because supporting ourselves through menopause doesn’t always have to mean completely changing how we eat.

Sometimes it’s simply about understanding what we can ADD to give our changing bodies a little more of what they need. 💜

And that is exactly what Nourish is all about.

🥤 10 smoothies. 10 symptom-focused recipes. One very well-used blender. 😂

The Nourish Her Menopause Smoothie Book is available as an instant digital download.

💜 3 WEEKS TO GO! 💜

Three weeks from today, we’ll be opening the doors to the very first Kesgrave Menopause Meetup.

And I honestly can’t wait to welcome you.

This is a six-week pilot programme created to give women a safe, welcoming and supportive space to learn, connect and talk openly about menopause — from perimenopause through menopause and post-menopause.

Over our six weeks we’ll explore some of the things that can have such a big impact during this stage of life:

🌿 Understanding what’s happening during the menopause transition
🌿 Food and nutrition to nourish your changing body
🌿 Stress, anxiety and the nervous system
🌿 Sleep, fatigue and energy
🌿 Confidence, identity and relationships
🌿 Practical tools to help you support your own wellbeing

But this isn’t a classroom.

It’s a space to talk, share, ask questions, listen and connect with other women who may be experiencing some of the same things you are.

And if you’re not ready to share? That’s absolutely fine too. You are welcome to simply come, listen and be part of the space.

📅 Starting Thursday 10 September
⏰ 6.30pm–8pm
📍 Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre
💜 Six-week pilot | £5 per session

If you’ve been thinking about joining us but haven’t registered your interest yet, now is the time.

One of the best things about community events? Meeting and supporting the brilliant local businesses right on our doorstep. 💜

At the Kesgrave Community & Conference Centre event yesterday I had such a lovely chat with Nicky from Nicky who hand-pours her soy candles locally in Kesgrave.

There were SO many gorgeous fragrances that I couldn’t choose… so I handed that responsibility over to hubby. 😂

He chose Peach Bellini — and I have to admit, he did good!

I couldn’t wait to light it when I got home and it smelt absolutely gorgeous. Even after I’d blown it out, I could still smell it around the room. 🕯️

Community events aren’t only about what we’re there to promote ourselves. They’re a wonderful opportunity to meet local people, discover local businesses, have conversations and support each other.

That’s the kind of community I love being part of.

Lovely meeting you, Nicky — and Peach Bellini is definitely a winner in our house! 😂💜

Turns out talking about menopause in a beautiful garden isn’t a bad way to spend the day. 😂💜

Such a lovely day at the wellbeing event at The Hidden Garden.

Lots of conversations, lots of connections and the chance to meet some brilliant people working across health and wellbeing locally.

Days like this remind me why getting Nourish Her out into the community matters so much.

Menopause support doesn’t always need to start with a big serious conversation.

Sometimes it starts at a table, over a chat, with someone saying…
“Oh my goodness, ME TOO.”

And suddenly the conversation is flowing. 💜

A huge thank you to The Hidden Garden Cafe Ipswich for hosting and creating such a lovely space for everyone today.

And to all the wonderful people I met — it was a pleasure connecting with you.

Nourish Her is getting out there… one conversation at a time. 🌿

Ever feel like everyone else is coping better than you?

Plot twist… half of them may be thinking exactly the same thing. 😂

One thing I’ve learnt from talking to women about menopause is just how powerful it can be to hear two little words:

“Me too.”

Me too, I’ve forgotten what I walked into the room for.
Me too, I’ve felt overwhelmed.
Me too, I’ve wondered where the old me went.
Me too, I don’t have this all figured out.

And you know what?

You don’t have to.

Menopause isn’t a competition to see who can cope the best.

We’re all navigating it differently, at different stages, making different choices — and sometimes we just need somewhere we can take the mask off, talk honestly, laugh at the ridiculous bits and feel understood.

That’s why community and connection matter so much.

No perfection.
No judgement.
No pretending.

Just women supporting women. 💜

Come as you are. Menopause brain and all. 😂

Tech? No thanks.” — said the woman who just built her own website. 😂

Menopause brain? ✔️
Forget why I walked into a room? ✔️
Open 17 tabs and forget what I was doing? ✔️
Build a website from scratch?

Apparently… also ✔️ 😂

Today I’m doing something I’m genuinely quite proud of.

I’m launching the new Nourish Her website.

And no, I didn’t secretly become a web designer.

I had no experience building websites.

Nourish Her has been bootstrapped, which has meant learning to do a LOT of things myself.

So when it came to the website, I decided:

I’m going to learn.

There were moments of “WHY has that moved over there?!”
Moments when something worked perfectly on my laptop and then looked completely different on my phone. 🤦‍♀️

And plenty of moments when my menopausal brain and technology were absolutely not on speaking terms.

But I kept going.

I learned.
I Googled.
I clicked things I probably shouldn’t have clicked. 😂
I undid them.
I tried again.

And slowly, page by page, I built it.

Is it perfect?

No.

And that’s actually part of why I’m sharing this.

Because somewhere along the way, especially as women, we can start believing we need to know what we’re doing before we’re allowed to do it.

We don’t.

We can learn.

We can be beginners.

We can get things wrong.

We can start again.

And we can do all of that while navigating midlife, menopause, families, work, businesses and brains that occasionally decide the word we’re looking for has simply left the building. 😂

At 45, I’m learning skills I never imagined I’d learn.

And if there’s something sitting in the back of your mind that you’ve already decided:

“Oh, I couldn’t do that…”

Maybe you can.

You don’t have to know how yet.

Start. Learn. Make mistakes. Keep going.

Progress before perfection.

Because this website isn’t perfect — but it’s live, it works, it feels like Nourish Her and I BLOODY BUILT IT! 🙌

And I’m proud of myself for that.

So… welcome to the new online home of Nourish Her.

🌐 New website is LIVE!

Calling women in Kesgrave, Woodbridge, Ipswich and surrounding areas…

If you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause and would love somewhere local to feel understood, supported and a little less alone — this is for you.

Menopause can be one of the most isolating times in a woman’s life.

Feeling like nobody quite understands…

Menopause can be one of the most isolating times in a woman’s life.

Feeling like nobody quite understands.

Not knowing who to talk to.

Wondering whether what you’re experiencing is “normal”.

And sometimes not even understanding what’s happening in your own body enough to explain it to the people around you.

If any of this sounds familiar, the Kesgrave Menopause Meetup may be exactly the space you’ve been looking for. 💜

This September, we’re bringing women together for six weeks of conversation, learning and support.

We’ll talk openly about menopause and our experiences — what’s helped, what we’ve struggled with and the things we wish we’d known sooner.

We’ll explore food and nutrition, with practical ideas to help nourish our changing bodies and support our overall wellbeing.

We’ll introduce simple nervous system regulation tools, including EFT, to help us navigate stress and overwhelm.

And perhaps most importantly…

You’ll meet other women who get it.

Women going through similar experiences.

A place to learn.

A place to share.

A place to listen.

A place to connect.

And if you’re not ready to share? That’s absolutely fine too. There is no pressure and no judgement. You can simply come and be.
