Recently, many of our families have been asking about ordering a memorial for their loved one and whether it will be in place in time for Christmas.

We’re pleased to reassure you that all memorials purchased during September, with layouts approved, will be guaranteed for delivery in time for Christmas.

And throughout September, families can also receive 10% off our memorials, making it a lovely opportunity to choose a lasting tribute to someone precious.

To all our wee friends who are starting primary one this week, the staff at Holmsford Bridge all wish you lots of luck on your new adventure.

As a staff we have had our very own little ones walking into the classroom for the first time this week and also have met some amazing wee characters when they were visiting our grounds for services or to pay their respects in our gardens.

💛 A Peaceful Place to Say Goodbye 💛

Choosing the right way to lay someone you love to rest is an incredibly personal decision. There is no single right way — only what feels right for you, your family and the precious person you are remembering.

Our Memorial Consultant, Susan, has appointments available this week for families who would like to talk through the options for scattering or interment of ashes within our peaceful gardens at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium.

Susan can spend time with you, show you the different areas available and help you create a farewell that feels personal and meaningful. You can also discuss adding those special touches — perhaps a favourite piece of music, a poem, a few words or simply a quiet moment together as your loved one is laid to rest. 🌿

There is never any pressure and you don't need to have made any decisions before coming to see us. Sometimes, simply walking through the gardens and talking through the possibilities can help you decide what feels right.

🕊️ Appointments are available with Susan this week.

Today, we had the privilege of helping a family give a much-loved husband a truly fitting and personal send-off. 🤍

Working alongside J. & J. Lindsay: Funeral Directors, we helped bring together a special tribute that reflected him perfectly — with laps of honour around Holmsford Bridge Crematorium in his name, before leading the way from the crematorium following his final journey into our care.

It was a wonderful reminder that a farewell doesn’t always have to follow tradition. Sometimes, it’s the personal touches — the ones that capture someone’s character, passions and the life they lived — that create the most meaningful memories for those left behind.

We feel incredibly privileged when families place their trust in us and allow us to play even a small part in making their loved one’s final journey as unique as they were.

Today wasn’t simply a goodbye. It was a lap of honour for a life well lived. 🤍
