🪵 About the Role
Located on the banks of the River Don, The Little Sauna is a peaceful wood-fired sauna. We need a reliable, proactive, and outdoors-loving host to run our weekend sessions independently in all weather conditions.
✨ Key Responsibilities
Site Setup & Prep: Light and tend the stove throughout, monitor wood supplies, and carry water up from the river between sessions.
Hosting & Safety: Warmly welcome guests, brief them on etiquette, and maintain a calm, friendly vibe.
Diplomacy: Act assertively and diplomatically to ensure safety rules and timings are followed.
Turnaround: Clean surfaces and tidy changing area, refresh water buckets between sessions, open vent and secure the site at lock-up.
💛 What We’re Looking For
Essential: Local resident with own transport, physically fit (water buckets are quite heavy), proactive problem-solver, and comfortable working alone. Not afraid of getting your hands dirty with stove and cleaning.
People Skills: must be friendly, punctual, detailed-oriented, and confident with basic digital tools/customer feedback.
Desirable: First Aid / Open Water qualification, sauna benefits knowledge, social media content skills.
