Today was residents on garden wing unit some our lovely residents enjoyed one to one time with our wonderful activity team singing & chatting amongst other therapies ❤️

While David was leading the weekly art class guiding our other residents through a still life session.
Drawing and art can be very therapeutic and also helps to quiet the mind and supports focus & hand eye coordination 👍🎨

Our lovely residents enjoyed a fantastic musical afternoon with Marky Andrews singer/Entertainer everyone was up dancing and singing along together residents, loved ones & staff ❤️
It was wonderful to see and be a part of 🎶❤️🎶

Some of our wonderful residents enjoyed a fabulous day out on the Spirit of the Endeavour boat , the views were marvelous and we certainly didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits ❤️☔️🦆

It was an absolute pleasure to visit the Dementia Friendly Keighley Hub and Donate £250 raised at our Summer Fair , DFK are such an important support network for people and their loved ones who are living with dementia in our community.

They provide a large variety of support in lots of different ways and everyone involved has their own lived experience of dementia. So if anyone is thinking they may need some support in the community or just some advice or anything else give the team a call or head down the hub in Keighley town centre you will receive the warmest and most supportive welcome from everyone.

We are looking forward to continuing to develop our relationship together.
