I still have spaces available for my next Yoga Retreat Day. Sunday 7th June 11am to 3.30pm.

This will be a day of honouring and celebrating the light within us and around us as we head towards the Summer Solstice.

'Jyoti' is the light that is within us all and we can explore and encourage this light to shine using our Yoga practises, meditation and pranayama, taking us into a journey guided by the wisdom of the body.

This will be a day of compassion and commitment to ourselves that will leave you glowing inside and out.

If you have a friend who you know is trying to lose weight, wants to lose weight, is doing their best to lose weight then please, please don’t be that friend who says “oh go on...have that slice of cake, have those chips, have the icecream, it won’t hurt!”

How do you know it won’t hurt?

How do you know that that slice of cake,those chips, that ice cream won’t be the very thing that makes your friend give up on his or her weight loss this week?

How do you know that if they give up on their weight loss this week that won’t lead to them giving up on their dream altogether?

You wouldn’t offer an alcoholic a gin or vodka saying just one won’t hurt. You wouldn’t insist an ex smoker has a cigarette with you just to be sociable. You wouldn’t tell either of those people that they’re no fun because they don’t want to have what you’re having. Or at least I hope you wouldn’t.

So please, if you want to be a TRUE friend, be kind. Don’t sabotage someone else’s chance of achieving their dream by persuading them to have something that you know, deep down, they find hard to resist. Anyone can do that. It’s easy. But a real friend wouldn’t do that.

And your friend will appreciate it more than you might ever realise, believe me

I could write a status about all the amazing benefits of our very busy , super supportive , chatty , fabulous , downright friendly Townhill Bowling Club
# Slimming World group on a Saturday morning .

Maybe even mention how brilliant the members are for helping each other , and often speak of the tremendous website/ app .. which is with full of recipes and inspirational stories…

I could write about how our members only group page which has a lot more than a pic of soup 🤪🤪… a true community and how as always I’m here to help.

But what I am gonna say is if your ready or when your ready to hit the Reset button. I’m here… we are all here .. As always have been and always will be.....
