✨CLINIC UPDATE✨

✨Exciting news - Shelley will be returning to the clinic after her maternity leave on Monday 12th April. She will be running a clinic every Monday 11am - 4pm & every Thursday evening 5.30pm until 8pm.

We have a long list of patients that have patiently been awaiting Shelleys return & we will be contacting you in the next few weeks but please either call the clinic directly 01905 820001 or 07710531192 to book your appointment.

Currently Shelley will not be taking on any new patients as she would like to be able to use her time in clinic to see all of her exsisting patients.

✨Beau Folie - should the predicted dates for lifting lockdown restrictions remain the same Kate & Kim hope to return to seeing all of their lovely clients from 12th April also.

✨Grace - Blush Aesthetics, Jo - Massage Therapist & Jess - Jess Vale Beauty all hope to re-open 12th April also & cant wait to see all of their lovely clients too.

We are so looking forward to seeing you all and cant thank you enough for your patience, support and kindness during what has been a very difficult time for everyone.

**CLOSED DURING LOCKDOWN**

It is with a heavy heart that I have taken the decision to suspend my clinics & close the clinic entirely for the very few that were still able to work until mid February.

This has been an extremely difficult decision, all of my patients are extremely important to me & I know how much you are all in need of a treatment especially after my maternity leave.

After awaiting guidance this week from our governing body Chiropractors are classed as primary health care providers and are able to continue treating during lockdown.

However this does not come without restrictions, we are only to treat urgent cases & are unable to see any maintenance/ MOT patients; with having had the last 9 months off & not seeing you regularly this alone puts me into an awful position with having to decipher whether I believe your symptoms fall into the “urgent” category or not. Rightly so we are not to see any patients that are classed as medically vulnerable and are to space appointments out as far as possible to allow for full sanitation of the room & a period of time to allow the room to air in between patients.

We have been told to look at our risk assessments again and make an informed individual decision on whether to remain open during this third lockdown period.

Taking this all into consideration coupled with the new variant, vaccinations starting to be administered, the fact I am initially only returning for one day a week & most importantly that I have a 5 month old baby at home, I feel the risks outweigh the benefits & I am going to heed the overriding message from the government to stay at home & protect our NHS.

Those that already have appointments booked in will be first on the list to be contacted as soon as it is safer to re-open & we have a more definitive date, we will keep you posted.

In the meantime lets remain positive, look after each other & be kind. Remember I am always an email or phone call away if you need any advice at all I am here to help. Rachel Arrowsmith one of the Chiropractors looking after my patients whilst I have been away is remaining open.

Wishing a happy & healthy 2021 to all of our lovely patients & clients....

Its been a tough & testing year for many, we would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all for your unwavering support & kindness.

All we can hope for is that 2021 delivers us a new type of normal but in the meantime lets all continue to be kind & loving to ourselves & each other.

Every cloud has a silver lining & the silver lining we can take from 2020 is that in one way or another our very busy lives have been slowed down & stripped back. Reminding us of those things that mean the most - family, friends, love, happiness & most importantly our health.

Remember we are all in this together, keep strong & remember you are all doing better than you think 💪🏼✨♥️

Our daughter arrived at the end of August & we couldn’t be more smitten. She is just beautiful in every way & somehow already 4 months old!

**UPDATES**

Firstly we would like to say a big thank you again to each and every one of our lovely patients/ clients for being so patient during this difficult time. We also hope you are all continuing to stay safe and well.

**CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT**

Some chiropractors have re- opened this week but others have made the decision to remain closed until July. Those that have re-opened are under very strict protocol, they are wearing full PPE and are only allowed to treat very urgent patients ‘those with a medical need for treatment’. Currently guidelines sate that none of those urgent patients can be in a high risk category - this includes the over 70’s, pregnant women & anyone with a long term or underlying health condition.

As many of you are already aware, I am now into my third trimester of pregnancy. Unfortunately following government/ NHS guidance I have been advised that I do not return to work now until after my maternity leave. This is across the board for all pregnant women at this stage of pregnancy as during this time we are classed as being at greatest risk to the virus.

Although I was still hoping to be back in clinic to see you all before my maternity leave this is no longer possible. I am missing the clinic & my patients terribly but I have to put the health of my baby first.

I will be back in clinic from the beginning of January (if not before!) and will continue to update everyone from this page, clinic answerphones and our website www.morganchiropractic.co.uk

In the meantime, Jo my massage therapist who works very closely alongside me, will be back treating at the clinic from the first week in July - 07881806532.

My associate chiropractor here at the clinic has high risk family members at home so will also not be returning to work at this stage.

For all of my urgent patients that are in need of treatment as always I highly recommend McTimoney Chiropractors Delia Oliver and Rachel Arrowsmith both are fabulous and will look after you all well whilst I am away.

Following Government and Public Health England guidelines I am hoping to re-open the clinic and hair studio on the 4th July. This is still stated as the earliest date possible and therefore may still be subject to change.

I have been busy working hard behind the scenes changing clinic policies and putting into place the necessary procedures to make the clinic & studio as safe as possible for all of my therapists/ stylists and our visitors.

Each therapist/ stylist will be carrying out a strict telephone triage on booking appointments and will be sending out via email an outline of the strict protocol we will be following and will need you to follow.

**please note we are not quite at the point of being able to take bookings for when we re-open this applies for both the clinic and hair studio so please continue to be patient. We know you are all desperate to get booked in but the last thing we want is to give you false hope and then have to contact everyone to re-arrange. We hope to be taking bookings in the next few weeks once we have received confirmation of a definitive opening date from the government **

We are so looking forward to welcoming you all back, it will be a very different way of ‘normal’ for everyone returning to work but we are all in this together 🌈

As soon as we feel able to start taking bookings we will update you via this page and Beau Folie page so keep your eyes peeled.

We promised all of our lovely patients/ clients an update following on from the latest government announcements.

Unfortunately the clinic remains closed, with the nature of our treatments we are unable to socially distance which currently means the risks are just too great. However we all remain available via email or telephone with any advice needed.

In the meantime we are busy putting in place the necessary procedures ready for when we are given the go ahead to return to work.

We cant wait to see you all very soon and want you to know that we are missing you all.
