Heron Hill Care Home We are a purpose-built
home, built over 3 units, nursing, nursing dementia, and a male-only unit. All bedrooms are en suite.

We have a 2 Gold star Dementia accreditation, and the Gold standards framework
(GSF) for end-of-life care, issued in 2025.

🌞🎉 Our residents have had another great morning getting creative and making decorations for our upcoming Summer Party! 🌻🎨

There was lots of laughter, conversation, and artistic flair as everyone worked together to create some fantastic decorations. To make the morning even more enjoyable, we listened to the wonderful music of André Rieu, which created a lovely atmosphere for all to enjoy. 🎻🎶

We can't wait to show off everyone's hard work at the Summer Party! ☀️💛

🌞✂️ Summer Fayre Preparations in Full Swing! ✂️🌞

Today, our residents have been keeping focused, relaxed, and creative as they worked together to make beautiful paper craft decorations for our upcoming Summer Fayre.

There was plenty of concentration, conversation, and laughter as everyone helped create colourful bunting that will brighten up the event. Craft activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage creativity, support wellbeing, and bring people together.

We can't wait to see all of our handmade decorations on display at the Summer Fayre! 💖🎨

This afternoon we enjoyed the company of Bev Abley singing live to our residents from Cavell and Wheawall. A nice afternoon of music and interaction, songs we knew sang by a good friend on ours. Thank you Bev, see you again soon. 🎶❤️🎤x

We would like to say a huge well done and congratulations to Abid on the successful completion of his Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.

Abid is a valued and dedicated member of our team, working as a CHAP. Throughout his apprenticeship, Abid has demonstrated commitment, professionalism, and a genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support.

This achievement reflects all of his hard work and dedication, and we are incredibly proud of what he has accomplished.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Tend training for delivering such a fantastic course and supporting Abid throughout his learning journey.

Today we welcomed a new entertainer to our care home. Nick Morrice, and he played the Keyboard. He had a varied genre of mucic to play and the residents really enjoyed listening to the tunes. Shiela was up dancing as she does and others just sat happy, tapping their hands and feet. We will be seeing Nick again later in the Autumn. 🎶❤️🎹x
