In Groove, clapping isn’t just about putting your hands together. It’s a full-on creative playground! 🙌🎉

What does a Groove facilitator pole studio owner do on their day off? 🤔✨

They stick on an epic tune and accidentally invent pole groove rave ⚡️💃

What started as a quick freestyle turned into a mini one-person dance party 🎶🔥

And I couldn’t have hit that last note any better if I’d planned it 😁👏

There’s nothing quite like switching the brain off and letting the music take over 🧠💫

Looking back through the camera roll from the past few weeks and my heart is full up. Just look at all this gorgeous colour and energy! 🌈💃

A massive shoutout to our groovy crew (including those I didn’t manage to snap 📸). Thank you for bringing your wonderful selves, your smiles, and your brilliant energy to the dance floor every single week. You make every session pure joy 🫶🎉

Saturday morning plans?

If you’ve been melting in this heat all week, tomorrow morning is looking decidedly cooler and perfect for getting outside on the grass bright and early! 🌞🌳

We are back in the park tomorrow at 8.30am for Groove 💃🎧

If you haven’t tried it before, Groove is just simple, feel-good dancing to great music. No complicated steps to learn and absolutely no wrong moves. It’s just a fun, easy way to shake off the week and feel good 😎🎵

We got rained indoors for the first two weeks, but tomorrow we are back out in the fresh air. We'd love to see you 🌞💃

We’re back for week two!! 🎶💯

I forgot to snap a photo, but we took our first park Groove indoors last Saturday to stay cosy and dry, and had the absolute best time with brand new and regular groovers 🌧️➡️✨

This weekend, the town is going to be buzzing with Abbot Hall becoming the Kendal Pride Village, and we’ll be heading back to our indoor space for one more week with plenty of room to lose ourselves in the music and bring our own colourful vibes to the dance floor 🌈🎉

The magic of headphones is that they completely transform any space into the perfect dancing spot. This photo is a lovely memory from when we danced at the top of Finkle Street last year, and shows how you can create that escape anywhere 🎧🎵

If you’ve never been to a Groove session before, we’d love to say hello. There are no routines to follow and no right or wrong way to move. It is just a friendly, feel-good space to dance and shake off the week 💃✨

✨ The Release (Groove): We’ll start by slipping on wireless headphones for a silent disco Groove session. Fully immersed in the music, you’ll be guided through a joyful, uplifting dance experience where there are no complicated steps to learn, no routine to memorise, and coordination is completely optional. It is simply about moving your body in a way that feels good to you, completely free of judgment 🎧💃

✨ The Restore (Soundbath): After a short breather, it’s time to get cosy. Grab some blankets and cushions, lie back, and let the pure, resonant vibrations of quartz crystal singing bowls wash over you. The combination of beautiful frequencies and deep silence is designed to soothe your nervous system and leave you feeling completely renewed 🥣✨

THE ULTIMATE GIFT TO YOURSELF 🎁💖

It’s easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the to-do list. That’s why we’ve created this evening session to give you the time and space for a complete full-body reset 🌿💆‍♀️

Every element has been carefully chosen to transport you away from your daily stresses and leave you with a lasting sense of peace and vitality. It’s a chance to look after your own energy and headspace for a change, and that good feeling stays with you long after you leave 🥰💫

Wear something comfy that you can move easily in, plus extra layers to wrap up in after the dancing. Bare feet, yoga socks, or non-slip socks are perfect 🧦🕺

Blankets, cushions, and yoga mats will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you want to get extra snuggly for the soundbath. Don't forget a bottle of water 💦🧘‍♀️

Our brand new Silent Disco Park Groove at Abbot Hall Park is a fully guided, feel-good dance experience. There are no complicated steps to learn and absolutely no pressure. You just pop on a wireless headset and follow my guidance to move exactly how your body wants to move 🎶✨

(And don't worry about the rain this week. If it pours or is too wet underfoot, we have a lovely indoor dancing venue lined up just a couple of minutes' walk from Abbot Hall, so we're covered either way! 🏠🌧️)
