Veronica Segura delivered her weekly seated yoga session to the residents at Rokewood Court Care Home today. Many of our residents look forward to attending these sessions each week. The sessions seem to be the perfect balance of gentle stretching, balancing and alignment exercises and deep breathing and meditation. This all promotes a sense of calm and helps to improve mood and reduce anxiety. The classes always finish in the same way by repeating the positive affirmations:
I am strong ❤️
I am happy 🧡
I am loved 🩷
I am peace 🩵
