Samantha Goddard Emotional Wellbeing

Samantha Goddard Emotional Wellbeing I help individuals, professionals and teams reduce stress, manage anxiety and perform at their best. "It's liberating. I wish I'd done it years ago.

Using a combination of hypnotherapy, EFT (tapping) and EMDR techniques, I offer practical, effective tools that can be used to create lasting change. I am a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Nutrition & Weight Management Advisor and Fitness Instructor. I'm a member of the Royal Society for Public Health, with over 22 years experience in the health & wellness industry. I am also co-creat

or of The "life changing" Menopause Fit Program. I help women who feel self conscious about how they look and dislike their body, they feel anxious and worry what other people think of them, they hate disappointing others and feel a need to mask how they really feel inside. I'm not trying, it's just happening." "I'm not trying not to eat rubbish, I just don't want it - it's weird!"
"My mindset has definitely changed, something has clicked in my brain." As a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner I get to the root cause of the issue and help my clients transform beliefs they hold about themselves, then imprint powerful new beliefs into their subconscious mind, so they feel good in themselves, like how they look and feel confident and happy. I've worked with women who have spent over 20 years dieting and battling with unwanted weight to completely transform their relationship with food and their body. Transforming emotional eating habits into a desire to eat healthy foods and unlocking their natural ability to be a weight they feel comfortable with, without the battle or struggle. So they feel relaxed and calm within themselves, feel good and confident in their body and really like how they look so they can get on with enjoying life.

“It’s effortless, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I’ve stopped trying. After years of diets, I feel free.”

For so many people, a fear of flying doesn’t just affect the journey. It can mean turning down holidays, feeling guilty for letting others down, feeling anxious for weeks beforehand, or spending the entire flight in a state of panic and wishing it was over.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping people move beyond those fears so they can enjoy the moments that really matter.

This lovely client recently returned from a family holiday to Greece after working through their fear of flying, and I couldn’t be happier for them. 💙

Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey, and for sharing these kind words.

If anxiety or a specific fear is holding you back from living the life you want, you don’t have to face it alone. With the right support, lasting change is possible.

Does a certain person in your life have too much control over your emotions?

An ex-partner. A parent. A child, A client. Your boss?

Sometimes just one conversation can leave you feeling frustrated, anxious, angry or emotionally drained for the rest of the day.

We can’t control what other people say or do, but you can absolutely change how you respond.

Imagine staying calm, setting boundaries without guilt and walking away without replaying the conversation over and over in your head.

How different would your week feel if one challenging person no longer had the power to dictate your mood?

I’d love to offer you a complimentary 30-minute consultation to explore why certain people trigger such strong emotional reactions and how we can help you change those patterns of reaction.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is give ourselves permission to slow down.

Join us on Wednesday 22nd July (7–9pm) at the beautiful Mountfield Retreat, Tonbridge for an evening that feels like stepping away from everyday life... without travelling anywhere.

Nestled in a hidden corner of Tonbridge, Mountfield is a little sanctuary where you can breathe deeply, reconnect with yourself and simply be.

We'll enjoy:
🤍 The wood-fired sauna
💧 Cold plunge and outdoor shower
🌿 A guided meditation on the lawn
🔥 Our relaxed fire circle beneath the evening sky

This isn't about having the right words or sharing your deepest thoughts. It's about genuine connection, tuning into yourself, listening to what you need, and gently letting go of whatever you've been carrying.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply craving a little time just for you, we'd love to welcome you.

Come as you are. Leave feeling calmer, lighter and more connected.

Our bodies are always communicating with us, sometimes in ways we’d prefer it not to.

The lump in the throat, the tight chest, tense shoulders, the knot in the stomach. These are all messages our body is trying to communicate.

I help you to hear the message being communicated, so you understand the root cause. We then work together to release these feelings and restore balance and calm.

You’ll also leave with new skills to deal with any unwanted feelings going forward. So you feel a greater sense of control over your mind and your body. Feeling more equipped to support yourself now and in the future.

We weren’t taught these skills at school, but it’s never too late to learn them and practice them and pass them on to others. 🩷

One of the questions I’m asked often is, “What actually happens in a therapy session?”

The truth is, every session is different because every person who walks through my door has their own story.

Some people do arrive saying, “I know exactly why I feel like this.”

But more ore often it’s, “I don’t know where to start.”

“I feel overwhelmed.”

“I’m constantly overthinking and catastrophising.”

“I’ve lost my confidence and I don’t feel like me anymore.”

“I’m exhausted, but I can’t switch off.”

My role isn’t to tell you what to think or how you should feel. It’s to help you make sense of what’s been happening, understand why your mind and body have responded in the way they have, and then begin teaching them a calmer, healthier way of responding.

One of my favourite moments is when a client suddenly pauses and says, “That makes so much sense.”

It’s often the first time they’ve stopped blaming themselves and started understanding themselves.

From there, real change becomes possible.

Over the weeks that follow, we begin retraining the mind and nervous system to feel calmer, more confident and more at ease.

The constant overthinking quietens, the physical tension softens, confidence starts to return. Obviously life doesn’t suddenly become stress-free, but it no longer feels as though stress and anxiety are running the show.

There isn’t a magic wand, but there is a process. One that is compassionate, practical and tailored to you. Once you’ve experienced it, it can feel magical.

If you’ve been wondering whether therapy might help, perhaps this is your sign to find out. You’re very welcome to book a free consultation call, where we can chat about what’s been going on and whether I’m the right person to support you.

I’d love to hear from you.

One of the biggest shifts in my understanding of anxiety came when I realised that our nervous system is always learning from repetition.

If you’ve spent weeks, months or even years living with stress, overthinking or constantly anticipating what might go wrong, your mind and body begin to treat that state as familiar. Not because it’s enjoyable, but because it’s what they’ve practised.

Our brain’s primary role isn’t to make us happy. It’s to keep us safe. Sometimes, it mistakes what is familiar for what is safe, even when those familiar patterns leave us feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or constantly on edge.

That’s why feeling calm can sometimes feel surprisingly unfamiliar. Some people even tell me they become anxious when life is finally going well, almost waiting for something to go wrong. If you’ve ever experienced that, I can relate.

The encouraging part is that our nervous system is always capable of learning something new. Every time you pause before reacting, challenge an unhelpful thought, practise EFT, take a slow breath or allow yourself to rest without guilt, you’re teaching your brain and body a different response.

This is one of the reasons I encourage my clients to keep their first few therapy sessions fairly close together. Lasting change doesn’t come from one conversation. It comes from repeatedly helping your nervous system experience calm, safety and emotional steadiness until those feelings begin to feel familiar too.

I’d love to know whether this resonates with you. Have you ever noticed yourself feeling uncomfortable when life becomes calm, or catching your mind searching for the next thing to worry about?
