Mike went nearly all the way around the village after tea yesterday, with Andy. He said he didn’t want to stop! They were talking about his life after he left school. Some amazing stories of his travels. He was thankful when they got back to Manor Farm, just in time for a brew ☕️

Enjoying the weather and our lovely garden. Our tomatoes are looking lovely but the jurys out as to whether Amanda talking to them helps. Berry isnt convinced and just laughs but Jean says King Charles does it too so it must work. Mike and Maureen joined and they had lunch together, outside. Christine asked to go and see the sea after lunch which we did. With both of us being local girls we talked about changes and how far out the sea was. We recalled the old betting shop, Ivy's Sweet shop and The Wavecrest Cafè.

🌸What a wonderful Garden Party! 🌸

We were blessed with lovely weather for a fantastic afternoon of fun, laughter and togetherness. It was extra special having our friends from Lound Hall join us, making the day even more memorable with games and plenty of smiles.

We were entertained by a lovely singer Rachel.leah.sings, this was her first performance within a care home and we already have her booked to come back!

We enjoyed refreshing mocktails, and tucked into a delicious homemade buffet, lovingly prepared and served by our wonderful kitchen team.

A huge thank you to our fantastic care staff for all their hard work, care and enthusiasm in making the day so special for everyone.

A truly lovely afternoon filled with sunshine, friendship, music and happy memories! ❤️

What a lovely evening! ❤️

Amanda took a resident to see Martin Jarvis as Tom Jones at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston, and he was absolutely brilliant! 🎶👏

She had an absolute blast, cried during the first few songs (which Martin actually noticed 🥹❤️), and then spent the rest of the evening chatting away to everyone sitting around us! 😂

It was an absolute pleasure to take her. The whole evening was completely person-centred, with our resident taking the lead on everything and choosing exactly what she wanted to do- we also went for an icecream on the seafront!

Moments like this remind us just how important it is to give people the opportunity to enjoy life, make memories and simply be themselves. ❤️

Has Amanda ever mentioned that she LOVES her job?! 😂🥰

Today, we celebrated our lovely Maureen’s 80th birthday! She had visitors throughout the day, arriving with cards and flowers. We had an afternoon party with performer, Stan Young followed by birthday cake and a little afternoon Brandy… why not? You’re only 80 once! 🥳
