Social anxiety (sometimes called social phobia) is best described as a fear of being judged.
The person feels self-conscious and unable to shake off the idea that others are making an assessment of them.
Like all anxieties, it is irrational so the thoughts are irrational too. The person’s low-self-esteem is projected onto the situation and they think:
“Why would they be interested in what I have to say?”
“I’m not as good as them. They are smarter and more confident than I am.”
Hypnoanalysis is a type of analytical therapy which works on the principle of cause and effect.
Rather than managing anxiety with strategies, the therapy works to resolve the underlying reasons for the problem and by doing so relieve the problem for good.
