The bond between a caregiver and a service user can be incredibly special 💙

When you support someone every day, you start to understand them in ways that go beyond words. You notice the small changes, the familiar smiles when they see you walk through the door, the routines that bring them comfort and the moments that remind you why this work matters.

But care can also be emotional. Losing a service user you have poured into during the last seasons of their lives can affect you more than people realise, and it’s okay to go through grief as well. But what a joy it is a look back on such a meaningful time with them and their families 🤲

If you are a caregiver, this is your reminder: the relationships you build absolutely matter and your contribution to their lives is impactful in MANY ways than one 🫶
