Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Avensys encourages employees to take part in Employee Volunteer Days, supporting charities and community organisations that make a real difference.

We're pleased to recognise Chris Edwards, System Analyst and Data Protection Officer, who recently volunteered with Bewdley Carnival as part of an Avensys Employee Volunteer Day.

Bewdley Carnival is a not-for-profit community event that raises funds for local causes each year. Over six months, Chris designed and managed the carnival website, created the online raffle, and integrated the payment gateway to make ticket sales seamless. His work helped generate around £4,000 in raffle sales, making a significant contribution to the event's fundraising efforts. Chris also volunteered on the day, helping with the firework displays.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers like Chris, this year's carnival raised £11,500, with all profits being shared between four local causes.

Thank you, Chris, for your commitment and for making such a positive impact in the local community.

At Avensys, we're proud to support our employees in giving back to their local communities through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
We're pleased to recognise Aaron Dalton, Biomedical Engineer, who recently volunteered at Wyre Forest Citizens Advice as part of an Avensys Employee Volunteer Day.
During his time at the Kidderminster branch, Aaron supported the team by preparing volunteer packs for new recruits, helping to ensure future volunteers have the resources they need. He also gained valuable insight into the importance of data protection and the vital role Citizens Advice plays in supporting people with financial matters, housing, family issues, understanding their rights, and more.
Our Employee Volunteer Day initiative gives colleagues the opportunity to step away from their day-to-day roles and support organisations making a real difference in their communities.
